Specs indicate "nominal impedance: 4 to 8 ohms." I don't understand the variable impedance. My amp has a 6 ohm min requirement. Will this work?

impedance fluctuates as the speaker plays. most amps that i'm familiar with will easily play speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms to 8 ohms. check the specs on the amp again, and call the manufacturer to find out for sure if the amp will only play from 6 to 8 ohms, very unusual

How do i take it apart to replace driver, i have taken out all screens that i am able to locate?

Ouch. I thought the screws were on the bottom... I cannot pull mine off the wall to check.

Did i place an order?

Yes, I ordered a pair to serve as compact stereo speakers.
