New, Improved, and a Great Chair
I have both the original and the newer model of this chair and it is a great option. Perfect for camping, but I even use it in my man cave at home for watching movies on my projector. Love this chair.

First use while camping - pros and cons
I'm doing what annoys me...reviewing a product after only one use. So, this will not speak to the longevity of the lounger, mainly to the comfort and functionality of it. We just returned from a camping trip where our campsite had very few level spots. That said, I was able to use this chair and feel very secure in it. I occasionally used flat stones to help level it, but it's wide enough that it always felt secure. So, here are some of my pros and cons for this product.Pros:- It's solid. I never felt I was pushing it's limits. I'm 5'10", mid 200's, and felt very secure sitting in it. My husband is 6'4", also over 200. He also felt very secure. I never felt like I had to sit down gingerly, ready to spring up if it seemed like it was going to collapse.- Tray holds more weight than you expect, but I'd still respect it's limitations. It slides out on a fairly thick rod from under the chair and clips onto a knob on the side of the chair to support it. It held my full 40 oz hydroflask, a full beer, and a book without dipping or tilting down.- The sliding pillow is genius.- You can lock it at any point while reclining. I found my favorite reclining positions were just a smidge (feet elevated a few inches), and little bit (feet elevated maybe a foot), and fully reclined. The chair never felt like the locks were going to fail (and only discovered there were locks on both handles after reclining in it a few times, and it still felt fully locked in).- Dries fairly quick after a rainstorm.- Folds up easily after use.Kinda Con:- It's so big that I had to sit down on the edge and slide back into it. When getting up, I had to wiggle my butt towards the front of it to stand up. The Kinda Pro in this is that all I had to say was "Dang. I forgot to bring my (book, beer, water, hot chocolate) and look mildly annoyed with myself, and my husband would say, "You stay there. I'll get it". heh heh.Cons:- It's a beast to move around. I'm a strong woman but the size and weight of this chair made it pretty cumbersome to move around the campsite. I was hoping this would replace my collapsible camp chair, which can easily moved around as needed. Even my husband said it was kind of a pain to move. So, I'll be taking both chairs, which is ok because I wanted the lounger to act as my place to watch clouds, stargaze, and just relax and I have to room to haul them both.- Certain positions make by lower back hurt. Frankly, I wish it came with two pillows, one to use for my head, and another for my lower back when in certain reclining positions. But, I can't say this is the only lounger I've had this complaint with, and it's easily solved with other items I always bring camping anyway.- The tray top is metal...and slick. I plan on adding a piece of that mesh looking shelf liner or a silicone mat to keep things from sliding around or off the tray.- Ensuring the legs are fully open on uneven terrain takes a little getting used to. Or maybe that's just me. However, I sometimes thought the legs were fully open, when it was the bar on the front of the lounger that "caught" on the ground first. This means it could potentially fold up on you as you sit if the actual legs aren't fully open. This didn't happen to me, but I noticed it a few times just prior to sitting down after moving it. However, it you don't move it around as much as I did, or use it on even ground, it's probably far less of an issue.Would I buy it again? Yes. In fact, my husband is thinking about getting one. Bottom line, is once I had it in a spot in the camp site I liked, I loved it.

didn't have to put any parts together which was perfect for me
The zero gravity chair came as one piece, didn't have to put any parts together which was perfect for me. And the cup holder is really convinent for me. It came folded and it was an easy pull apart! It took me a minute to figure out how to adjust the chair but once you figure it out, it's a simple pull of the side knobs and a push of your body to any recline level you prefer. The chair can be reclined to a variety of longing positions.Turns out this chair was a lot bigger and more spacious than I expected.

Don’t shop around! This chair won’t disappoint!
I should have purchased first.!!!My husband recently had a knee replacement and he wanted a Zero Gravity Chair! So I rushed right out and purchased one,And it’s ok, not as sturdy or high quality materials. And less money.Well, I came across this one (I’m a big Amazon shopper)! And said to myself, this looks sturdier, looks like quality materials and the overall look for a few more dollars! So, I purchase this one to compare. This chairWins hands down. Hubby is in love with the overall comfort, sturdyness, stylish colors, wooden arm rests and snack table. So of course he wants to know why I just didn’t buy this one!
