Donaldson Farms Bat Attractant Spray for Bat House – Nature-Derived Lure and Scent to Attract Bats to Boxes, Wood, and Outdoor Structures or Garden Habitat for Natural Outdoor Use - Made in USA - 2 oz

I bought this in January and applied to my bat house on Jan. 20, 2019. I followed the instructions explicitly. 5 sprays on the bottom (entry) of the house. I check almost every day if bats are in the house. I waited a month as instructed and sprayed again at the end of February - 5 sprays on the bottom of the house. Kept checking daily - no bats. The third application was done at the beginning of April. But this time I decided to do a few more sprays. 8-9 full sprays instead of 5. Kept checking daily. Today April 9, 2019 - two bats in bat house - an adult and a small pup. Update June 13, 2019: In May I had an explosion of bats - big brown bats to be precise. During the first week of June I counted 45 bats (as they left the bathouse in the evening). I read that these species of bats will congregate right before giving birth. There were a number of pups in the bathouse. After a big storm this past week, the bats all left the house. Today, 3 days after that storm I see 2 bats in the bathouse.

We had a bat house on our farm with bats in it. One day we noticed that all the bats were gone. My husband climbed up to investigate and saw that the house had been taken over by hornets. So he cleaned them out. A few months passed, but there were still no bats in the house. I bought this spray and he applied it as directed. A month later we went to reapply the spray but realized that a bat had already moved into the house. Two months after that single application and we now have nine living in there. Since it worked so great the one time we used it, we still have plenty of spray left in the bottle. We plan on building additional batboxes for other areas of our property and using up the rest of the spray there.

Product arrived with a non functioning sprayer. Had to transfer to another bottle with sprayer. Product has been applied to existing bathouse for two months, no bats. It has had bats for years. There are bats In the air at night. Good presentation though, I was hopeful. After 3 months house has bats again. I'd like to believe this product helped.

I purchased an excellent bat house and placed it in the perfect location per the instructions. I have been spraying this fluid since the weather warmed up and not a sign of any bats. I am very disappointed and question the value of a $25 two ounce bottle of mystery fluid. I wonder how badly we are being taken advantage of. An ingredients list would be nice and a return of my money.

I understand it's not a miracle worker. My problem is we hung the bat house so high, it's difficult to re-apply. All I can say it it hasn't worked with only one application. Directions don't say how often you should spray again.

Recommend this be bought with the bat house as it has ingredients to attract bats to colonize the bat house instead of your hime.

This doesn't seem to do anything to attract bats. I put up two bat houses to try to get the bats at my house to sleep in those instead of above the table on my covered deck. I want the bats to stay around, but I'm tired of cleaning guano off of my table.

Bought this to spray my bat houses to get the bats to go inside them instead of the outside wall. I have used up almost the whole bottle still to no avail. I followed the directions too but still to no avail. With the cost of it I won't buy again I will just net the openings and hope they leave or go into the bat houses.
