GRIDMANN NSF Stainless Steel Work & Prep Table 30 x 24 Inches with Caster Wheels and Under Shelf for Restaurant, Home, Hotel

I purchased this to use as a table for my direct to food edible printer. When it arrived, the box was in pretty sad shape, so I was concerned that the inside may not have arrived without problems. However, the only flaws were several places where the protective plastic coating on the metal had been ripped off and there were some scratches. But other than that, there were no nicks, bends, or other flaws due to shipping.It is rather heavy coming in at a bit over 80 pounds with the wheels. It is also much higher with the wheels - 39" tall when fully assembled.I wanted the wheels on it so that I could move it if necessary. The wheels are very good quality and larger size with 2 of them having locks on them which is very beneficial.The table itself seems quite sturdy, although it does scratch very easy, just from my fingernails (which are very short and thin).The bottom shelf is adjustable, however once you have it put together, it is a bit more difficult to adjust the height. There are two small set screws that you have to use the enclosed Allyn wrench to twist in order to adjust the shelf. And it was a bit difficutl with just 2 of us to keep it flat and level to be able to move the shelf. The legs on the top shelf also screw in with the same small screws. The commpany did include 2 extra screws and a small Allyn wrench with this unit.The rounded edges are nice on both sides so that it doesn't matter which side you want to use. The plastic bullet type feet that came with it would be good if you don't want the wheels.The craftmanship looks to be good and I believe this will work my what I purchased it for. It is much easier to have 2-3 people to put it together than one person, especially for assuring that the bottom shelf is straight while screwing in the set screws. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased the 48" x 24" table and it's a great, solid piece with substantial casters. It was not challenging to put together once I figured out the tool type I needed (allen wrench in the star-like shape) as no assembly instructions are included with this product.I'm happy with the purchase but would share that there were two minor ding dents in the table top. If a perfectly smooth surface is important in your use of the product, you should be aware this defect is possible. The package was not damaged in any way (it's actually very well packed in two layers of boxes) so it would appear the manufacturer let the product exit the facility with dings. If you need a perfect surface, it would be advisable to peel off the protective sheet on the tabletop to check for any imperfections before assembling if you would want to return. Again, not a big deal and these very minor imperfections do not impact the overall quality of product and my use of it. Hope this helps!

It's a shame that they can't have better quality control and shipping packing. I read many reviews before purchasing that said their tables were dented. I decided to roll the dice anyway and got what exactly what those reviews said I would get. I knew going in that I could live with a couple of blemishes, but still hoped there wouldn't be any. The table itself seems to be of nice quality. I use it in an outdoor covered patio to set a small propane pizza oven on. I really liked that the shelf placement was adjustable. The casters seem to be of good quality too. If you really don't mind that there may be some blemishes on your table, I fully recommend it. If you do mind, be prepared to send it back, which would kind of be a nightmare with an item this size, or look elsewhere for a manufacturer with better quality control and shipping packing to protect there product.

I needed a very sturdy table for my small sized but still very heavy HR freeze dryer, and this table is perfect. It has enough room for both the dryer and pump, and I use the shelf below for items I use with the FD, so everything is all together.PRO 1: The table came very well packaged, so there were no dents or other issues when it arrived, which is one reason why I selected this table over others.PRO 2: It was very easy to assemble -- I'm 66 YO female and assembled it quickly myself with no trouble even though it is a heavy table.PRO 3: It has nice large wheels that aren't supposed to mark hard floors (unlike the previous table I was using)PRO 4: I liked that I could decide the height for where I wanted the lower shelf. It did require using a measuring tape to ensure the shelf was level, but it was very easy to do. My thought is if they provided pre-drilled holes to select from for the lower shelf height that it would have made the legs less sturdy? I also liked that the lower shelf had one screw partially screwed in on all 4 corners. At first, I thought that was a pain because it required loosening them to adjust the lower shelf where I wanted it, but I quickly realized it was very nice that they did that because it prevented the lower shelf from slamming down and possibly hurting my hand while I was maneuvering and then securing it in place.CON: The only thing I can say is possibly a negative is I had to ask my husband to get his weighted hammer for me to install the wheels because the instructions indicate you have to screw down a nut on each wheel assembly to make the rubber bow out so it fits tightly in the table leg. I guess I could have just stick in the wheel assembly as it was and then wouldn't have needed the hammer because it fit in easily, but I felt it would compromise the strength of the wheel assembly and would eventually weaken it because I would be rolling it back and forth frequently.Very pleased with this table.

I was skeptical of ordering this online because so many people complained of damage. But it came very well packaged inside of styro foam and I am very pleased with the quality. The casters are easy to install and are nice and big and they lock. You can adjust the shelf. I would suggest to have someone help you as it makes adjusting the shelf and screwing it tightly in place very easy. Have a ruler to measure the height of the legs. I put this together in just a few minutes and am very happy with it.

I find this to be a high quality table - but as has happened to a number people whose reviews I read before ordering - it arrived damaged. The table top came severely dented, as shown in the photo, and a bolt underneath the table had been sheered off. Aside from the damage, though, the table is sturdy, the stainless steal is heavy gauge, and the casters are truly heavy-duty, commercial quality. The legs are not stainless steel (they are galvanized) - but they are chrome-coated and look good. I'm really amazed that a manufacturer of this level of quality would continue to package its product in such a sloppy way that leads to high damage rates.UPDATE: I ordered a SECOND table to replace the one that came damaged and IT WAS MORE BADLY DAMAGED THAN THE FIRST! There is absolutely no padding in these boxes to protect 70 lbs of metal sheeting from denting. Worse, Amazon initially only offered to refund $50 (20%) of the purchase price. I had to go through two levels of supervisors in order to receive a $75 credit for keeping the damaged table. I also told them that the box came so badly damaged that they'd have to send someone out to package the FIRST damaged table. Two different customer service reps said that would be fine. But when UPS showed up to pick up the table they said they had no ability to pack up merchandise so I'd have to find a box to pack it in and pack it myself - and there would be an extra charge to have them make another delivery attempt. I've been a loyal customer of Amazon for 15 or more years, often ordering thousands of dollars of products each year. Never before have I had such a poor experience with customer service. I've always considered them top notch, making me feel comfortable with making large purchases constantly. I surely hope that my experience is not reflective of a change in how they value customers.

I purchased this to be my everything working table. Come in drop off packages. Cooking space, checks this box too. Slap a mat on top and cut quilting pieces. Easy clean and the bottom shelf is terrific as I was able to assemble it to my preferred height. The wheels, and why wouldn't you have wheels, make it the right working height for me and I can easily move it around in my space. I think this may be the most useful item I've purchased in a very long time. The price was right.

First of all, if you are looking for a table with wheels, these wheels are heavy duty and it is nice to know that they are the correct wheels for this unit. They are heavy wheels and are heavy-duty. Removing the protective wrap from the table top and the shelf took longer than assembling the unit. It is super easy to assemble, yes, there are instructions (but really, can you fit a pipe into a hole and tighten a screw?), and yes, it does come with an allen wrench, which I found when I was done assembling it. It is a very heavy unit, the box it came in was too large and heavy, so I brought it piece by piece to where I assembled it. When assembled, it looks sleek.
