Great little knife sharpener. Easy to use once you get the hang of the technique, sturdy and a good size. Sharpens really well and feels like it will last!

I had my eyes set out on diamond blocks after buying a set of cheap combination whetstones, which were nowhere as abrasive as advertised. Found this to be the cheapest set of diamond stone available at the time. Surprised at how well this block sharpens!! The plates seem to be of robust construction. The stand also have rubberised feets at the bottom so it doesn’t slip at all. As a beginner knife sharpener, I found this to be way easier to use than cheap whetstones. Less than an hour I was able to sharpen about four of my knives to a satisfying degree. One thing that could be improved upon is bettering instructions on the listing or with the product itself as to whether or not you should clean it or wet it with water (Looking online, it seems like opinions are quite divided). I’m sure with proper care, this should last at least a few years.

As with most diamond plates it will need breaking in but is of great quality for the price. Whether you are new to freehand sharpening or experienced you should find it easy to get a good working edge in short time and not have to worry about it dishing out with use

Decent, works as expected, good purchase

Excellent diamond plates. Mine were consistently coated with no discoloration at all. Better than I expected for this price. I can't confirm the grit sizes or whether there was contamination from other size grits, but I didn't notice any issues with the knifes I sharpened. I got the results I expected. So I recommend these. If you're not a pro, I would recommend finding something to use as an angle guide too.

Great Diamond sharpening stone extremely worth the money. Gave it a 5 Star because it worked like a hot dang. The company that makes these should consider making it with 2000 grit as well and sell it as a bundle!
