Can't live without this stuff in the northern winter. It really works to keep your face and nose from freezing.

Works but won't buy again
Purchased for a trip in winter to Germany to keep cheeks and lips from windburn/chap and this is little more than an unmedicated carmex ointment. It has the same petroleum scent and feel. It worked. Served its purpose, but I don't feel like it was any better than vaseline or other similar item would hvae been at half the cost. WE keep it on the nightstand now and will use it until it is gone, but won't buy it again.

This is always so handy for protecting my skin in hot or cold weather. I keep a tin in every ski and mountain biking bag.

Works Well to Prevent Frostbite
If you want primarily frostbite protection, get the #23 blue can. Yes, it has a lower SPF, but is better for frostbite.
