This is a great amp and fits my needs perfectly. I read some reviews and watched some video reviews and quickly learned to turn the input selector dial to mp3. There is some confusion about if this is a stereo amp. It is and it isn't. The six channels all put out the same mono signal. It sounds great, but it is definitely NOT stereo sound. The inputs accept left and right channels but combine them into a mono output to the speakers. I assume, but did not test, the output rca ports pass off a stereo signal. I prefer a mono output as I'm using this in a Hair Salon to distribute the music evenly around a large 2 room area. As I can control the volume on each channel, I can set a custom volume for each area. The build quality is about or above what I expect at this price point. As for being "stereo", think about it. If you have 6 channels and each one puts out a separate left and right channel, well folks, you have a 12 channel amp. Plus, how would you balance those, as there is no "balance" control. And that's because....there is NO STEREO to balance. This unit seems to be designed for PA applications and broad background music installments. Home theatre?...this is not your guy! Again, the sound is full, rich, and ample power to fill a 1000 sq. ft easily (depending in the sensitivity of your speakers). I'm using 6 Micca 8" 2-way. I did add a compact subwoofer with its own mini amp to round out the bass. I like a lot of boom, even at lower volumes.

This was just what I was looking for. The 4-channel output matched the speaker set-up I pre-wired when I built my office space years ago. I was using a 4-channel speaker selector switch with two prior stereo receivers that eventually died. Tremendous feature set for the price and the unit is a very solid substantial piece of gear. The Bluetooth (a game changer compared to the old equipment) was easy to pair with my iPhone. I the FM radio section was surprisingly sensitive and picked up many stations with the included basic mono-wire antennae. I only listen to one FM station, so fortunately the previously tuned station stays tuned when the input mode changes. The volume could be way louder than my needs and sound quality was fine. One review mentioned, tight, not smooth volume control knobs of channels A B C D. I noticed that on a couple of mine but noticed that the knobs were pushed on a bit too much and contacting the face of the unit. Pulling the knobs outward (as if to remove them) fixed that and the smooth rotation of each knob was realized. I was curious as to the energy used so I measured the watts with a meter. As expected, the watts varied with volume: Plenty loud was around 30w, with ~20w for normal low background music. "Cranked" was close to 100w and probably unpleasant for most. A more energy efficient replacement in my situation.
