Q: Does this need to be watered in after application?

I put it in 25 gal. sprayer and did not use additional water. Sprayed the lawn and only received positive results. I am a DIY person not a chemist.

If you mean you need to mix it, no. Just apply it using a sprayer.

Q: Can I use this with a hose attachment sprayer

Yes you can. Follow directions on label. I do all the time.

Q: How much area can I treat with 2.5 gallons?

A.C. To start, you should expect to need at least 1 gallon per 17,000 sq/ft for ever .5 to 1.0 PH change you'd like to initiate. In general, its not easy to measure how much you'll need. But liquid lime allows you to raise the PH quickly. Get it applied and within a few days you'll see changes. But in general, you should wait 2-4 weeks before acknowledging the changes as anything "permanent". At that time, apply more if its needed. So if you were looking to change a 6.5 to a 7.0 for one acre? This 2.5 gallon jug would probably be just what you'll need.Cheers,JonathanCustomer CareU-Spray Bugspray
