Q: Can I Buy this stylus to replace the 2m red without removing the whole cartridge?

Yup! The 2M blue cartridge with stylus is 225 and just the blue stylus is $200. You don't have to upgrade the whole cartridge until you upgrade to the bronze. The bronze and black share the same cartridge. I have the blue on my 1983 Rega planar 2 and it sounds fantastic

As long as your red was properly aligned when you installed it, it's a simple swap of the needle to upgrade to the blue. I recommend setting the tracking force to the 1.8 grams. Be sure to set your anti-skate to about 1.8 as well. You only have to upgrade the whole cartridge if your are planning to upgrade to the bronze or black. They share the same magnet system. The blue is a big improvement over the red. You won't be disappointed.

Q: What’s the difference in quality on the red Ortofon combating to the red Ortofon?

The range of sound you will get from the blue is much broader. It's pricey and I would not get it unless your albums are in mint condition and your system is high end. High end Ortofon cartridges are worth the price but its the cherry on top to get insane sound quality. You can't go wrong with Red 2M, you just don't get the full range that this brand offers.

Q: .2x.7 or .3x.7 grind on diamond?

I’m pretty sure it’s .3 X .7, but being a nude elliptical stylus allows it to sit deeper in the groove than a standard elliptical stylus. It’s a noticeable improvement over the red which is not a nude stylus.
