Workable but cheap feeling glove box bins
Cheap feeling plastic and aluminum construction. Not easy to focus on subject. Not very bright, terrible in low light. Optics are fairly clear, but only to 50%. These are cheaply made and they feel cheap. They kinda look like Swaro EL, but performance is low. I had to epoxy the focus wheel metal cover back over the plastic hub because the original glue failed. They are lightweight and small for 10x42. Got mine for 50 bucks, and that's about what they are worth.

Compares with much more expensive bino's
My intended us for the 10x42 Alpen's was primarily for hunting however when considering the quality for the price I now have a pair in the kitchen window for viewing birds or whatever caatches my eye and another pair in my truck for checking livestock in the pastures. I've owned Alpens since they first came on the market, they hold up and do their job well.
