Garbage Disposer Button Air Switch Kit, Hot Tub Pneumatic Push Button Switch for Garbage Disposal Parts or Food Waste Equipment

This replaced my he old switch in my jacuzzi bathtub. Perfect fit and function. The tube that came with it was too short for my needs, but that’s not their fault - can’t expect them to account for a longer setup than I would have created had I installed the pump to begin with. You can get the tubing at Lowe’s Home Improvement, etc. if you need a longer run.

The switch was ordered to replace one in a whirlpool bath. I originally intended to just use the push button but ended up using both the push button as well as the electrical switch due to the air line on the new being smaller diameter than the original (this was my error as I didn’t pay attention to what was present before ordering). Both components were easy to install and work as well as the original, and the pricing was quite a bit lower than purchasing local.

Easy replacement. After 12 years the bellows on the air part failed. This was bolt off and bolt on easy. However, the counter part of the assembly was not long enough to use the thread nut under the counter. So I just siliconed it in place. Seems to work well with my Insinkerator Model 55.

I made the mistake of buying this item, to save money, versus the InSinkErator air switch with outlets already built in (can be found on Amazon as well). That was my misunderstanding - I thought I could hack it into my Badger disposal and save $30. Turns out it does not fit within the disposal body at all. Probably, on the unit it is intended for, it fits in an added enclosure and not directly in the body. I had planned for that possibility, and determined I could put the air switch into a NEMA enclosure under the sink. So I went this route. But by the time I bought all the parts needed I saved a total of about $10 and expended much more in labor. That said, I was successful. So why five stars? Because it is not the vendors fault. This device is exactly what it purports to be, and would probably have been a perfect exchange for the original disposal it was intended for. Bottom line, don't buy this with the intention of hacking it in - it's not worth it in the long run. Device itself work great though.

came the next day on Prime. great price on standard type air button... will need compliant box and. crimps to hard wire. very easy but not plug and play..

I used this to replace the air switch in our old Jacuzzi tub. That was a terrible project because tearing into the tub area was awful. But this switch actually worked. It didn't fit the hole because it wasn't big enough, but I pulled the old switch out, cleaned it up real nice and then busted the center out of it. it was a perfect fit to hold this one, so I glued this one into it with lots of caulk, so it wouldn't leak. Then I re-installed the old one with the new button into the tub. It doesn't look too bad! And the old tub works like new. Can't beat that.

Great Price! This product is awesome. As a novice reapir person, I thought the activation was in the "button" itself, it's not, it's in the switch attatched to the motor. Easy hook up and runs our pump with perfection!

Works great but spent come with instructions or wiring diagram. We took the metal plate off the bottom where the electrical connections are located. Drill a hole in the plate large enough for the top of the switch to fit. Push the switch through the hole and put but on to secure. Wire the hot side of the wall plug to one side of the switch and the hot side of the wire in the garbage disposer the other. Install.the rest of the wall plug per instructions. Stuff the whole thing back in the bottom of the garbage disposer, plug it in and it should work.

Used it as a replacement for the air button and hose .. which was missing form my recycled jaccuzi tub. I have only use a few times .. but, it works as intended. I have kept the actual 120v switch portion as a back up in case the original ever fails! Excellent value! Looks original!

replaced the motor on the jet tub and they didn't include this air switch looked at local stores for one. no on carried them. found this on Amazon with Prime delivery

Replaced previous air switch on a hot tub controlling the light in less than 5 mins. Dead simple to work with.

trim dropped off only a few days later!!! totally worst of money!

The thing just works, has everything you need and fits perfectly into a standard electrical box
