does this product have to be added every time new fuel is added to the vehicle?

In short no. It does not have to be added at every fueling but rather depending on how your vehicle responds. Most that buy the cans(11oz) rather than the quarts(32oz) are using for a passenger vehicle rather than a work truck. A good indicator is simply watching your mpg's. Miles per gallon are a good indicator of how efficiently your vehicle is operating. If you start to notice a drop from what you used to get, its a good time to use the 245 to help clean the fuel system. Every 15k is somewhat of a guideline but if your using different stations and getting different quality fuel, you might find that adding a can sooner will benefit you. Every car/truck is operating under different conditions but you may consider adding a can with each oil change or every 6 months. Basically whatever you see giving you the best results for your vehicle.

bg 244 What is the difference?

245 is the newer version of bg's fuel system cleaner. It contains more detergents and is designed todays newer diesels that are equipped with dpf systems

BG 245e Vi consiglio di usarlo.è un prodotto magnifico.ho una Qashqai diesel 2017.sempre comincia a vibrare quando metto il diesel perché so che gli iniettori sono sporchi.dal primo giorno è sparita la vibrazione.ho messo 50 l di diesel.un altro consiglio cercate di andare il diesel plus o Q8 ho performe il diesel normale non va bene per iniettori diretti.buona giornata

Your magic wand for diesel fuel systems

I used this product in a diesel tractor that was having fuel system issues. I added about half a can to the tank (7 gallon tank) and ran for about an hour with moderate load, and presto no fuel system issue, no more underpower stalls or misses. Very very impressed. The only complaint (but not worth deducting a star) was how may Gallons did the Can of BG245 treat - it was buried in 6 point font. To save you the trouble of eye strain .. one can BG245 treats 15 gallons.
