Thank you Laurie! So when you get a plate are you the winner?

This is a wonderful game, easy for young children to understand, and fun for parents. First, you take turns (a memory game) turning over one piece at a time to find the ingredients on the board you chose. When you get all of your ingredients, you spin to land on a plate. THEN, you take your turn to spin to land on a "child sitting at the table" to win the game.

What's the difference between the new version and the old one?

Hello, Thank you for your question, the only difference between the old and the new version pf Orchards Crazy Chefs is the packaging illustrations which have been updated :) We hope the information above will be helpful. Kind regards Moose Toys

How do you play this, what are the instructions?

Kids choose a meal card, spin until you get your character on the meal card, find the small card to match your meal card, take turns until meal card is completed, then spin for a plate. Our 4 and 6 year old love this simple game.

is it too young for a very smart 4 year old girl

It would be appropriate for a 4 year old. You can adapt the game to fit his/her developmental level. Very cute game.
