Being honest on the front end, I won this set via FB. So, I did not transact any cash for it, so I have no need to lie. I follow several survival sites and have seen several of the Holtzman products around. I received this on Monday, and the first thing that I will comment on is the packaging. It's really beautiful. Sturdy box with a beautiful logo on it. Definitely gift able in its own packaging. The multi tool is thicker than a Leatherman type, which Iike because I have big hands. It makes all the tools easier to fold out without making your fingernails bleed! The metal seems to be of good quality, and I will say that the knife is actually somewhat sharp when you get it, way better than most. And, the locking clips on each side keep your tools in place as you work. There is a leather case as well, which seems to be of decent quality. I have not used it on my belt yet, but would suffice for any day to day action. Added bonus is the "Swiss army" knife in the set. We are hikers, and you can never have too many compact tools to carry with you. Smooth finish on the handle, attachments fold out easy, and is actually a nice looking piece. All in all, I would highly recommend this for the average everyday user. While some may say you could pay more and get a Leatherman type, this will handle most everyday jobs that anyone runs into. Would highly recommend.

Full disclosure, the only reason I got this was because I won it on facebook, but that being said... I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and features of this multitool. All tools lock open, the tool set is useful and well thought out, and the tool is a good size, if a bit on the large side. I wasn't a fan of the leather pouch, but it works well. The swiss army style bonus knife is a nice addition, and very useful as a pocket knife. Overall, a very well-made and inexpensive multitool. Highly recommend.

Initial overall impression: Well built, solid, feels good in one's hands. Proper size for use. Often these are to large whereas this seems to be a perfect fit. It is fairly tough to open, I assume it will get easier over time. I like the carry pouch. Many may argue for a thicker leather, however I like the lighter, thinner case. The smaller knife is ok, however, it seems a bit crowded and difficult to access the right tool. Packaging is nice, would make for a nice gift. The big BUT here is are the actual knife blades. They are dull! Oh they will cut some paper but honestly they should be a lot sharper out of the box. Buy again, maybe. Give as a gift, sure. I give it 4 out of 5.

When I saw that Holtzman had a multi toolset, I was excited to purchase it given my great experience with their glues. They did not disappoint. The set comes ready to gift in a beautiful box, nicely displayed if that is your intention. For me, I wanted to use it myself. I cannot believe the value for the money. It is well built, multi-functional, great carrying case. They also included the small multitool set which by itself was worth the purchase price. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it. As always with Holtzman, great quality. Thank you.

I bought this to replace a Leatherman multi tool I misplaced. I am blown away by the quality and feel of this tool. Feels very sturdy in your hands and I appreciate the spring loaded pliers. The smaller Swiss knife tool is also wonderful. What a great find at this price!! The description says it’s great for a “guy” but I’m a girl and it’s awesome in my book for a woman too!! You won’t be dissatisfied with this set!
