I had no big skin issues with my face. Only had some small non-hurting sebaceous filaments on my nose, cheeks and chin. I have a normal skin as well. I never had any acne problems, very rarely a pimple could come and disappear within 2-3 days in my teens. I never used any serum or had to visit any derm in my life (lucky me!). But now the problem is I am getting aged. And I can see that on my face, I have under eye circles, tiny wrinkles under eye etc and I wanted my old beautiful skin back. Done a lot of research in internet during this quarantine and got to know about serums! I bought this serum for the very first time (and this is my very first serum in my life) and I can say this works good! I got 'retinoid uglies' in the form of small bumps on my face which would disappear the very next day!! (Google 'retinoid uglies' and thank me later!) This serum works on my skin like a miracle and I will continue using this. Thanks to the seller for making such a wonderful product and selling it here. Now it's been only two weeks I've been using it and I can see a difference under my eyes and all over my face. My skin texture is smooth and I can also feel the softness.

My review before: I've been using the serum for a few days. Obviously, not enough time to notice any results. It takes months for Retinol to work.Having said that, the ingredients are what really impressed me; there is some great stuff in there.Retinol being the first one at 2.5%, which is very high for someone with sensitive skin. If you've done your reading, you'll know that with retinol use, your skin actually gets worse before it gets better. If you have sensitive skin, you will experience irritation, redness probably peeling. But it is a part of the process, so do not worry!If you do have sensitive skin, start with a lower concentration serum. I do not have sensitive skin, so this one by Alpha choice is working for me now, and I will continue using it. Hoping to see some results in a few months.OH, don't even both with this serum or any other skincare product if you don't wear sunscreen the next morning!Review now:So I did some extensive reading about retinoids, and I suggest you do too to get a clear understanding of this ingredient and how it works.The package says 2.5% Retinol, which is very misleading and completely untrue. Retinol is a very strong substance, and OTC products can have ONLY 1% RETINOL MAXIMUM. If you want more strength, you have to get it prescribed.THIS PRODUCT: contacts 2.5% RETINOL/RETNIL PALMITATE.This is a different version of retinoid, vitamin A; nevertheless, the only caveat is that it is about 20% LESS effective than original Retinol.Having said that, retinol palmitate makes a great substitute for those with sensitive skin. It essentially does the same thing but a lot slower.So if you're someone like me, who's younger than the recommended age of 25 starting retinoids, this is actually a great way to introduce it into your routine to get the benefits over a period of time without really having to worry.But if you're looking for anti-aging and the benefits of Retinol or its stronger versions, make sure you read the ingredients and get your money's worth.

Good for oily skin

I have been using it for half and year now and I am obsessed with it. It has clearly shown me results this is my 2nd time I have ordered and I am happy with results that I have gotten.

For this price, this is a great serum! I use it overnight and my skin feels and looks good in the morning. Looking forward to see its long term effects. Go for it.

1- The bottle was broken.2- more than half the product had fallen in the box.3- my skin complexion became darker after using this.I had read the reviews and thought it's a good product. But my experience with this product is not that good. Won't buy this product again.

This serum is what I arrived at after trying three other retinol serums. This is the best of the lot. It is doest dry out while applying which happened with the others. It does what retinol is supposed to do,namely reduce wrinkles

I have used retinol serums before but this is my first purchase in India. I am a bit surprised about the serum having a colour and very strong perfumed fragrance contrary to any or the several serum bottles I have bought and used in the UK, which were thicker in consistency, transparent and odorless. I really hope this is not detrimental to my skin care routine. Shall update this review after a few weeks of use again.Also I am concerned about the descriptions in this product page which shows lightening of skin in one of its pictures! I hope the product doesn't contain any bleaching agent. That would be a really terrible thing.
