Did its job
The quality isn't that great, and it seemed that it didn't connect correctly upon sliding it in, but I ended up making it work out, so far so good

No proper instructions
Item is good especially in comparison to its price. But it took me a lot of time and effort to install only due to non-availability of HOW TO INSTALL instructions. There is a small sliding button near connectors which activates the drive through caddy.

Good product
Fits perfectly well in my laptop cd drive slot. Now I have 2tb extra storage thanks to this caddy.

SATA 3 Not compatible
I bought this item for my laptop to use with a Kingston a400 240gb ssd but it didnt work in the laptop cd drive bay as this product is NOT SATA 3 COMPATIBLE, therefore i had to remove my hdd and put it in the cd caddy and put my ssd in the main sata 3 port where my hdd used to be. Great product works as intended!(dont be afraid to push in your ssd/hdd, it may take a bit of force :D)

Nice and perfect size 12.7 mm
Good and perfect in size I fixed into my Toshiba Laptop for 1TB extra SDD upgraded nice working. You have to make sure before buy that you check your Laptop model and find the size of DVD rom caddy (9.5 mm or 12.7 mm) then only you can order, Thanks. 😃
