Q: Is this product good for laying down edges of hair?

No it's really for holding hair and sculpting, but if you use a blow dryer while brushing the edges this will hold your hair in place.

Q: Do you actually pump this and not aerosol spray

Yes it is a pump. Use it all the time. Favorite hairspray.

Q: Can you use this product with a curling iron/brush?

Not sure as I spray on after hair is curled so it holds curls in place
