Bad quality and not proper shape from the countersink

I've looked at a number of these on various sites, having seen the praises sung for them by serious makers online. However the pack that I received has avery poor finish, the edges of the crosshole is very rough with breakouts and strong burrs. It's hard to say if they will keep those unrefined edges, or they will rapidly break further, but given that they have poor edges from the factory - and that's what count's with this type of drill - I have low expectations of their longevity.

I have only used these a few times, mostly on wood and few in mild steel as well, and they've produced truly good circular chamfered countersinks so I'm very pleased with them - much better than my old multifaceted countersink bits that only seemed to produce serrated countersinks, and then only in wood. However, it must be said that so far I've only used the smaller sizes.

Used them in a pillar drill and they are producing a much nicer chamfer than the 'pointed star' variety of countersink bit you typically get in a starter pack of drill bits. Looking forward to using them more but first impressions are good.

Used on mdf, pine, oak, OSB and plywood. All great results.Be careful as this can remove material fast.Also not sure how to sharpen yet when I need to.

Really great countersinks! Nice price! And they work really well, they do great countersinking. They are a great help with deburring and countersinking holes before threading ^^
