Decent coffee let down by the capsules
The coffee itself is as good as you’d expect from Segafredo. However, it is let down by the capsules. Of the 12 in the box three jammed and two were made useless having come into contact with some spilled water and swollen up. I’m all for environmental friendliness, but for me the dualit press to remove the coffee from the foil capsules to make them recyclable is a much better solution than capsules that don’t work!

Pods fail in Krupps Nespresso machine.
Segafreda is my favourite coffee, so I was pleased to see these pods on Amazon, and I ordered the Peru flavour as well as the Brazil flavour. The Brazil pods worked okay in my nespresso machine - still not as well as Starbucks pods though. But the Peru ones (which have the big bonus of being compostable pods) just did not work - they dribbled out about 10% of the volume of coffee you would expect. Real shame. Might wait til they iterate the design before trying them again.

Not what I expected
I didn’t like the flavour

Capsules are not recyclyable
I'm pretty amazed that these capsules cannot be recycled as they are plastic. Given all the major manufacturers including Segafredos competitors are producing capsules made of aluminium I dont understand these.

Good coffee - big plus that pods go in the compost
Works well with Nespresso - quality Italian espresso & pods fully compostable (if that’s a word)
