Denby Azure 16-Piece Dinnerware Set

Arrived in perfect condition. New items and not seconds. (The letters on the back are the Denny ‘lot’ numbers and S is used for all seconds, as far as I know! Ours are AH marked.)We got our first set of these for our wedding in 2006 and they have lasted and lasted. No chips, scratches or dings. (Unlike our cheap stuff from Crate and Barrel that looks like dumpster china after only 18m.)Our kids dropped three of these into tiles, so we’re having to replace them.These are our go-to pasta, casserole, rice bowl, noodle bowls. Safe for all cooking and heating methods: I often defrost veggies in the microwave in these and then use them as serving bowls.Recommend 100%.

I was looking for something different, I didn’t want a floral pattern. I loved the color, it is so pretty and sturdy. The coffee cups are a decent size. The set was packaged well, no chips, nicks or cracks upon arrival.

Very pretty, very big. I filled it with a jar of pasta sauce and it wasn't over flowing. It's a little bigger then I expected but for big gatherings it's perfect.

We registered for these dishes for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. Absolutely beautiful color, heavy, well made and they can handle hot and cold.Update - it’s 2024 and these dishes have held up incredibly well over the years! No chips or cracks and I still love them :)

Quite nice dish construction, well applied gold stripe around edge. Sticky labels affixed to each dish take a lot of hot, soapy water and "elbow grease" to remove and even then sticky residue remains for two or more washings. Some of the place settings have more than one sticker (on side and on bottom of the item). PLEASE NOTE that the color of this set is BLUE (as described). However, the photo is AQUA / TURQUOISE, which is the color I wanted. (This is important if you are purchasing to match a tablecloth or room or other solid color dishes. They will NOT match.) Because the price is reasonable, I will not return the place settings, but I will also not order additional complementary pieces as I originally planned. Well priced. VERY well packaged for shipping; takes a long time to unwrap because each piece is wrapped at least two or three times (heavy cardboard "nest" wrapped in at least one layer (sometimes two) of bubble wrap, then wrapped in foam sheets and placed inside a second cardboard nest). Very environmentally wasteful and I think almost certainly not necessary.
