Not At All What I Expected
This item was disappointing for several reasons: (1) it is very heavily based on UK law and culture, with passing references to US. (2) It is EXTREMELY basic and while it does have some specific references, it has little to no real detail. (3) It seems to focus very much on criminology as a concept and pays little attention to law enforcement skills, technologies, practices, procedures, and the like. This may be my error, and thankfully the price at US$2.99 was modest. It seems to me it was written at the 6th grade level.
