Overall, this is a fantastic coffee maker. Keurig always offers excellent value for the money. Their machines are easy to use and consistently make good coffee. The only problem I’ve had with this machine is occasionally there will be some grounds in the coffee. It’s not excessive, and it doesn’t happen all the time but it’s enough to be annoying.

The new Keruig brewer is a step up from prior brewers. The multi-stream technology (multiple needles that puncture the foil of the k-cup and inject water in multiple locations) create the ability to tailor the flavor of the coffee to you liking. You might think this is a gimmick but you can really taste the difference from mild to bold flavors. From an operational perspective the unit is probably the quietest that I've ever experienced and I've had perhaps 9 or 10 units. You can't really even hear it when it's brewing until the water starts pouring into your cup. The reservoir is ample and will provide around 5 12oz cups before it needs to be refilled. There are several nice features including a zero warmup time with auto on/off feature. When you want to brew a cup you simply open the top drop in a k-cup and close it. The unit will then turn on and allow you to set your brew preferences. Simply push the large button on the top and it starts... no warmup time or waiting. You can also set and store up to 3 personalized settings that include brew strength, water temperature, and cup size via 3 convenient buttons right on top. Simply drop in your k-cup, select a setting and you are brewing your custom cup. The only shortcoming that I see is that it does take longer, perhaps 2-3 minutes to brew a 12oz cup than the traditional Keurig brewers. This can be an issue if you are trying grab a quick cup between Zoom meetings. Overall an excellent brewer. Hopefully it lasts a while as Keurig brewers tend to wear out after a couple of years.

For the first "meal of the day", my coffee addiction requires the coffee to be just right! This machine is a pleasure to use. But as I use more, I expect more. So some musings from me.. here goes... some great features I really like are:- Flexibility : it has the best features - strength, size & temperature can be adjusted. You can add your on favorite coffee powder with their included reusable pod. - Design: The all steel look is amazing. If I want to be picky, although better than the bulky design of the older models, the position of the Water container is a bit off so the back of the machine is not flush.- Quality : SOLID! the machine is well made and looks like it's built to last - Suggestions: The height of the water spout is quite a bit from the cup so unless you use a larger cup, the water will splatter. An adjustable cup base would help. Bluetooth notification - can you add this into the machine with a watch interface? With Strong & Temp at full, the wait for coffee is too long to stay by the machine & I could be more interested in being notified when my coffee is ready!

The jury is still out. This is the first Keurig machine I have owned. I have friends that rave about them but I am not so sure it is for me. I like the design and the speed at which you can produce a drinkable cup of coffee is great but the finished product is not quite hot enough for my taste even on the highest settings. I am trying to get used to that difference and am using the machine daily. I still find my instant Colombian Tasters Choice with boiling water from the tea pot most satisfying for my palate. That being said, the variety of coffee brands and flavors available at your local markets is really impressive. That alone says how popular this type of coffee maker has become. You don’t have to ever worry about burning your mouth when trying to grab a quick cup of coffee on your way out in the morning and maybe that is a good and necessary quality in these times of easy litigation.

Love the design. Love the water supply container with handle. Miss the speed of the old Keurig.

My youngest moved out so we gave her our old keurig and bought a new one/this one. Oh my dog have these things change, and for the better. From the simple: adding a handle to water holder alone was great (no more sides shaped to young child’s hand). To the more complex: it basically heats up the water in seconds; there are not two, but three heat and flavor settings - warning the hottest heat setting is something like 243 degrees kelvin and if put in an insulated mug, it will be undrinkable for 30 days and 30 nights. The new gang punch on the top and the slow drip brew makes even the worst K cups taste great - I am great fan the highest flavor setting too. Finally, many more cup sizes than our last one. Also, you can easily save your brew settings (temp, flavor and cup size), but only for 3 people in your household (I guess the coffee engineers work with averages). Personally, due to this coffee maker, I am happy that my kid moved out.
