I liked that it worked! The safety notch was hard to maneuver and you have to use a screw driver to loosen the little fixture in order to turn the punch wheel. But over all it's a good tool for punching a hole in a belt that was leather and linen. I did have to punch from both sides of the belt to go through it. This tool comes with a file that you can use to clean up the punched hole and a little ruler.

As I have lost weight, my belts are all too big. I purchased this to allow myself to use my current belts and add new loopholes so I didn’t have to go out and purchase new belts. This is extremely solid and sturdy and so easy to use. Definitely save me money and buying new belts.

Punching holes cleanly through leather can be quite a challenge. The wife wanted me to use her seam ripper, but it makes holes that are too small and pierces the leather too quickly and often makes a second hole in the leather that is unsightly. Nails and pins are too small as well. There are nice steel or iron leather punches that you tap through leather with a hammer which I might try next, but this allows for multiple size holes. Unfortunately, this one isn't very sharp, so after carefully placing, squeezing as hard as you can still leaves the need to twist the tool back and forth and back and forth to cut the hole all of the way through the leather.

I have had problems all my life with having small ankles and wrists. I usually have to punch holes in shoe straps and watch bands. This turned out to be a great investment. It's not hard to operate either. So glad I bought it.

I find it extremely hard to change hole sizes as the metal piece is too tight to dislodge.It works but it’s a struggle. Spend the extra few bucks on something better.

I needed another hole in my purse strap so it wouldn’t hang so low on my side. It worked great, and my husband used it to put another hole in his belt.
