Just as you'd expect from a good quality Montessori product. Exactly like the one in the classroom.

I bought one cube for my classroom of 15 children and one for my nephew. The classroom one gets a little more 'wear and tear' if (new) children are rough with the materials or use them inappropriately as 'building blocks' i.e., the paint can chip easily, but if children are careful when they use the cubes, they are fairly durable. The quality is fairly good, but obviously not as good as Nienhuis materials, which are far more durable/well-made, but also extremely expensive. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. If children are taught to use the material carefully it should last.

A beautiful, well-made Montessori material. The Binomial Cube is a classic Sensorial material for younger children, and a math material for older children. 2-4 Year olds love this little box of blocks that demonstrates the binomial theorem in three dimensions. When your child masters this one, get the Kid Advance Montessori Trinomial Cube. Check You Tube for videos of how to demonstrate the cubes for your child.
