EZARC Zirconia Flap Discs 40 Grit, 4-1/2 x 7/8-Inch, Type 29, 10-Pack

I’ve gone through a lot of flap discs over the years, and these honestly impressed me for the price. The zirconia abrasive cuts well, holds up better than the super cheap bargain-bin discs, and the variety pack of grits is handy to have around for everything from aggressive grinding to finish work. The T29 style works well for blending welds, shaping, deburring, and general metal cleanup. The 40 grit removes material quickly, while the finer grits do a respectable job cleaning things up without constantly swapping products. One thing these worked especially well for was sharpening lawn mower blades. They removed material quickly without getting overly aggressive, and it was easy to put a clean, consistent edge back on the blades. The shape of the flap disc also made it easy to follow the factory bevel without fighting the tool. Durability has been solid for the price. Are they premium industrial-grade discs? No — but they’re also nowhere near premium price. For fabrication, shop work, mower maintenance, and general metal work, they’ve held up much better than expected and don’t disappear instantly like some bargain discs. I also like having the mixed grit assortment in one pack instead of realizing halfway through a project that I’m missing the grit I actually need. If you burn through flap discs regularly and want a solid value option that actually performs, these are definitely worth buying.

Good price decent durability

These are exceptional for the price. I bought the 60 grit to use for everything. We run a hydraulic repair/machine shop and we dive into quite a bit of heavy equipment repair so these discs see every material you can think of. Stainless, aluminum, induction hardened chrome, you name it. Overall, they perform incredibly well. They're not the longest lasting disc out there, but I'd be willing to bet that the dollar vs performance ratio is among the best. I'll 100 percent be buying these again.
