Ordered this to replace my sleeve that had not been touched for at least five years along with the bulb that burned out six months ago at least. Like another review that was posted for this item, it was about a half inch too long. The one in my UV light was 14 5/16" (36.5 mm) while this one came in at 14 7/8" (37.7 mm) but a) it doesn't really matter and b) your really better off with the longer one I think.When I took mine apart I found out the sleeve kinda free floats in the Unit with the collars at each end tightening down on the o rings that hold the sleeve in place and keep the water on the inside. I only had 3/8" on either side of the o ring but now I have a little more than a half inch which seems more stable to me. There is plenty of room for the longer sleeve and I don't see any reason why it would bother anything. I need to search a little more and find the proper o rings to replace next time I pull this sleeve out to clean it. The sleeve diameter is .980" so you woul want to go slightly smaller to probably the next size down at least. Hope this helps.

LSE Quartz sleeve not direct replacement
for the ATS6-211Quartz used with ATS1-805UV bulb. When I received my order I began the replacement and found that the quartz sleeve was about 1/2" longer than the sleeve that was removed (this sleeve was in the system when the system was installed). I tried to install but it was too long. After an exchange with the provider I was told that they had been selling this unit for seven years with no complaints. Ok. I went to my local plumbing supply and purchased the correct item at a significantly higher price. I was told to trash the item and was issued a total refund to my account. The refund decision allows me to issue a four review, not on the product, but on the prompt customer support received. As I am the first reviewer here I wonder what experience the other buyers had?

This is far...no...FAR cheaper than if I purchased at my local plumbing supply. It is packaged securely and fits my water system as expected.
