no-nonsense bird feeder filled with sunflower seeds
this is not a feeder for eternity as it is rather lightweight and has a fragile construction. But with careful handling it will do quite well for a number of seasons. Birds loved the seeds, so those must have been of good quality.

Good product
Excellent product and the birds have used it continuously. However the Hanging strap is very flimsy and broke within half a day. Have used some wire to make a hanging strap which works very well.

Flimsy construction but the birds love it.
Very flimsily made and a blackbird managed to pull out the green openings with the built in perches. I had to glue them back in with Araldite. The birds love the sunflower hearts though and this feeder has a attracted loads of goldfinches and chaffinches that we don't normally get.The perches are too short for most species, like robins and great tits who have to try and hover to access the food. The only birds that successfully manage to use the small perches are the goldfinches.Still, if it lasts a season I'll be happy.*UpdateDidn't last a season the squirrels comprehensively destroyed it, just shards of plastic on the lawn.

Useful and easy.
After a year of my garden birds showing no interest in the large quantities of bird feed I'd supplied, I was reluctant to invest in more, as it's expensive and could also go to waste. These single, pre-filled bird-feeders seemed a good idea as a trial, and indeed, as my local bird population did welcome them with open wings I shall now invest in more substantial supplies.

Flimsy and inaccessible to the birds
Within 48 hours, squirrels had chewed away the plastic which holds the base in place, so the bottom dropped out and all the peanuts emptied onto the ground. Feast time for the squirrels and for big birds like magpies and jackdaws. So I refilled it and mended the base with garden wire. It has held together, but I have noticed that small birds cannot get at the peanuts, the holes are too small (yes, I did remove the cellophane!).So, all in all, a waste of money. Disappointing.

Cheap and does the job
Works fine and sunflower seeds come with it, good for a starter feeder

Cheap and cheerful
This bird feeder is really cheaply made and not fit for purpose. The birds seem to like it and enjoyed the complimentary seeds, but it was very hard to refill as the lid was stiff and finally a piece of plastic broke off after only the second refill. I would not recommend this feeder for ease of use, although the birds liked the extended perches at the sides and the colour is nice. A metal and plastic feeder is more substantial and better value, even if pricier.

Birds go crazy for this, especially starlings
The birds love these mealworm, especially srarlings and sparrows. It is like a feeding frenzy, with the starlings calling out for others to come and eat. The worms were gone within 30 minutes.I have since used the feeder for more bird foods, such as peanuts, seeds, more worms etc. The top of it just twists off and on when refilling.
