Pictured in the site is MADE in USA, but received one MADE IN CHINA, misleading description posted, also packed very poorly that the item is already outside the box and has multiple damages occurred. If knew that is not Made in USA I would not purchase this item, CURT is best known made local here in the USA.

Very Solid mounting hitch receiver
The shank is very heavy and high quality. Very happy... and of course if anyone ever decides to rear end my truck they will pay the price when they hit the hitch mounted to this receiver shank.

Nice hitch but it wobbled in the receiver

Another respected company's product sourced to China.
Curt Mfg used to be a reputable company that made quality parts here in the USA. Unfortunately this product carrying Curt's name is made in China. I ordered this pintle plate thinking it would be a good quality product but the welds and straightness are sub-par. Noteworthy is this plate has a 10k pound capacity vs the 8k pound capacity of the similar Tow Ready pintle plate.
