Oakley Half Jacket / Flak Jacket Soft Vault Case

I paid a considerable amount of money for Oakley to replace lenses with prescription lenses in my Half Jacket and Flak Jacket sunglasses. My Half Jacket pair came with a really nice, well fitted case. Unfortunately, my Flak Jacket pair did not come with a case. From the picture and description of this item, I expected to receive the exact same case that I already had. Upon opening the shipping box, I found what I thought was an identical case to the one I already owned. That is, until I unzipped the case and took a look inside and was horrified and dismayed to find an insert capable of holding a couple sets of lenses, but nothing in the way of a framed set of sunglasses... of any kind. Pictures state a 1000 words, so have a look.EXTREMELY disappointed. These are definitely going back for a refund.

My brand new Oakley Half Jacket sungalsses don't fit this case. If you force them, they will slightly enter the foam insert slits, witht the foam filling the entire bottom half of the case. Could just barely zip it closed. When you unzip the case, the glasses pop out of the slits, so if your not paying attention, they could pop out and hit the floor. I returned them for a poor fit. Also, this case is HUGE. It will not fit any "normal" places you would put a case

I wanted a case to hold extra lenses with the foam inserts like the Racing Jacket case. However the extra lens inserts DO NOT FIT XLJ lenses. They fit standard size Flak lenses but the XLJ Flak lenses don't fit into the slots.And the Flak frame doesn't fit that well in the frame slot. It fits, but not as well as the cutout for the Racing Jacket case.It's not a bad case, but not as well designed feeling as the Racing Jacket case.

This is a very nice case for holding a pair of Flak Jackets/Half jackets and 2 extra sets of lenses... BUT... I find that the innermost lens slots are cut a little too tightly for the newer XLJ lenses, which affects how securely they are held by the foam. Oddly-enough, the front-most lens slots are fine and will hold XLJ's no problem... it's just those rear-ones.

I bought this one to replace the one that came with my sun glasses but was later stolen. The replacement case protects the glasses very just like the original but the zipper doesn't work as well. May be it will improve with use. Time will tell.

Says it's for the half and flak jacket, however it don't have the cutout for the arms of the frames like the one that comes with the glasses, only the lenses. Had to remove the insert from my old case and the new one and swap them.

I returned this because it had an insert that could not be removed and did not fit my glasses. I guess it is exclusively for Oakley and can not be used as a generic glass case.

I purchased these for my Half Jackets that I wear at work to help protect them from scratches and such. Glasses fit in the case nice and snug and being a hard case, it helps protect your expensive investment. I would purchase this product again if the need came about again.

Arrived promptly, but didn't expect the inside to have anything in so we had to cut an area of the precut/preformed foam out in order to accommodate the sunglasses we'd ordered it for.

Bin mir nicht sicher ob das wirklich ein originales Oakley Etui ist. Die Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig und das Innenleben, wo bei meinen anderen immer ein weicher Schaumstoff war ist nun etwas kartonähnliches...würd mir Sorgen machen das meine Sonnenbrille zerkratzt... Nicht zu empfehlen.
