Keeps working!
I no longer remember exactly when we bought this (that's no longer shown in this view), but it was no later than 2011.We've traveled with it, used it back and forth between multiple computers, and my husband still uses it today. To our surprise, the paint on the keys hasn't worn off yet, which is more than we can say for anything else we bought around that period, including items which saw far less use.

No backspace key.
The picture shows a backspace key. The one we received does not have a backspace key. We didn't notice until we had thrown away the package so we can't return it. The one we received is bigger which my husband likes however, he needs a BS key. We're stuck with it now.

Nice addition to a laptop
Even though my laptop has versatility it does not have a keypad. I am happy the Micro Keypad plugs into a USB port and is ready to be used when needed. Nice for Excel and Quicken and other numeric entries. I am glad it was available and priced competitively.

Cheap, and gets the job done for occasional use.
It's a cheap membrane USB number pad that does the trick if you have a ten keyless keyboard, and want a number pad on your left side for occasional use, but I would not pay full price for this as it has no number lock light, along with the keys being a bit flat, and shallow with no way to raise it up for a better typing anle. So if I had to use a keypad for more than occasional use like signing into Windows 10, or using a calculator app, then I would invest in a mechanical model over this one for sure. But again if you are not truly picky, can get it on sale for less then $10, only need it for occasional use, then it should do you just fine.

Initial Mac Set-Up Problems
(Please read this full review, as my initial problems went away.)I bought this to use on my MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo laptop, and when I plugged it in, the New Keyboard dialogue came up asking for me to press the button immediately to the left of the right shift key. Well, as this keypad doesn't have any shift keys, I canceled out of the set-up.I was then able to use the keypad, but every time I hit a number key, there was a split-second pause, then the number would appear on my screen, but it was accompanied by the loud "bing" noise which occurs when an illegal command entry is performed on a Mac.I have since been looking for a way to use this keypad properly on my Mac, but to no avail.-------------------------------------------------Upon writing the above, I decided to try the keypad one last time on my MacBook Pro, and it is now working without any hesitation or illegal command noises. Why didn't it work like this right out of the package?Where I was originally going to give the keypad a 2 star rating, I will now give it a 4 star rating, as it is now working as intended.

Not exactly install friendly.
I have Toshiba laptop with Vista. Originally when I plugged this in and waited for the drivers to install it didn't work. I was little miffed, and visited the companies website with little help (very lacking in information). I unplugged it and plugged it in again. It installed a second time, and THEN it worked. Functions fine after that, but I almost threw it away thinking it would not work.
