Pricey, but very good quality.
I love MusicNomad's gear! Great for techs and builders. It is a little pricey, but nowhere near as pricey as StewMac. Excellent quality for the price. Also, they have a great Youtube channel with awesome videos on how to use their products.

If you're serious about playing a guitar, buy this
I've been around guitars most of my life. Always struggling to learn. I always thought set ups were for techs and pros to do. But after seeing a few videos about how to do it. I thought I could do it too. One thing I never thought of before was having the radius of the strings at the bridge For less than the price of having 1 guitar set up done by a "pro," I ordered this set of tools. And can do all my own set ups. Most players probably have 3 or more guitars. So this well help you understand your guitar better and how it works. I fist set up took me about 45 min to do a Les Paul type guitar. I use my least expensive guitar just in case I screwed up something. With my tools ready and the music nomad kiss video on YouTube, it was pretty straight forward. The only thing I got wrong was using the pick capo swrong at first. The pick capo is the only part on this kit that I feel is kinda cheap, however it is functional. Now all the gauges are great clearly marked, easy to read and use. Buy the time you do 2 or 3 different set ups, everything makes more sense. The case it nice, and has extra room for small tools, accessories, or even a clip on tuner or a traditional capo. One thing I never thought of was matching the radius of the saddle with the neck radius. But as soon as I saw and heard that on the video, I was like well duh. Makes sense that it would match. I do think it's a little pricey for what it is, but totally worth it fore what I can do! Also remember it pays for itself in 2-3 set ups. Now, all my guitars a re very similar, not 100% identical, but ever so close. This definitely makes them easier to play, and I think it makes you a starter player buy understanding your instrument more.

Very useful and complete kit for diy setups.
Have not got to use it yet, but all tools.seem very well made, and the storage case is great as well. If you want to get into your own setups, or just to see where everything is on a guitar or bass purchased either new or used, this is the thing to have. MusicNomad has some.great products, will be buying the neck wrenches and the other suggested tools eventually as well

The MusicNomad Precision 6 pc. Guitar Setup Gauge Tool Set are reliable and accurate tools.
I love MusicNomad products personally. I would suggest buying the 6pc. Set if possible. These tools are reliable, easy to use. you can follow the instructions to do your own basic setup. You can buy other versions of these tools from other companies, but that can get messy in your gig bag. Adjusting the Truss Rod and setting the intonation may require other tools beyond this kit. In my opinion this is a good place for beginners, and there are videos that can help.

Don’t hesitate, just intonate! (With this kit)
Fantastic Kit! I’ve used other tools, and this seems to address all my complaints, easy to read , and the instructions make it a snap to follow. I’ve tried doing my own setups for years and was always frustrated that it wasn’t quite right or I did something wrong. The string radius was super helpful Did my first guitar in about 10 minutes with this kit, and was blown away by how much better it played. I bought a 1800 Strat at Guitar center that came out the box setup like dog turd. When I asked them to do the setup, they told me they don’t do setups with new guitars and I would have pay their tech another $100 bucks to set up. 5 minutes with this kit and it plays amazing. Screw you guitar center, you lost another customer to sweetwater.

Having used some cheap guitar tools in the past (including the various items sold as guitar tools, but actually designed for other uses - such a feeler gauges (typically smothered in oil) and pipe cleaners repurposed as nut files, I thought it was time to get some better quality items. I particularly wanted to get something to measure correct nut height so considered buying just the nut gauge alone, but I was also attracted to the overall system and process covered by this kit. While I already owned a set of feeler gauges, this is a simpler set, with just a few thicknesses tailored to set your action for electric, bass or acoustic, so it's much less fiddly to use. Similarly the nut height gauge only gives you the thicknesses you need. The measuring ruler is very nicely made, it has no rough edges and the contrast of white writing on black is much easier to read. It also has various lengths of edge that you can use as a fret rocker to check for high frets. The radius gauges are good quality although personally I find understring ones easier to use. The instruction booklet takes you through the setup process step by step and is easy to follow. I didn't find the pick/plectrum-shaped capo particularly effective, as it didn't fully push the low E string down onto the fret, so that was better done by hand or with a real capo. It's worth bearing in mind that this is purely as set of measuring tools. If they tell you that you need to amend something, you'd still need other tools to fix the issue. Your guitar will likely have come with tools for adjusting the truss rod, bridge height/radius and intonation, but if your nut height is too high (or low) or you have uneven frets then you'll need other tools to sort those. In my case, as I expected before measurement, the nut of my guitar was way too high, so I had also purchased some proper (Music Nomad again) nut files and was able to get the string heights at the nut down to a proper height. But as a kit for checking your setup and telling you what could be improved it's very straightforward and good quality. As with all Music Nomad items it's probably a bit overpriced, but it is reassuring to know you're using quality tools and an effective process on your prized guitar!
