Atleast 100% better than expected.
The people who are giving this low rates are people who are complaining about trivial things. I received this Hammock on Monday, worrying about how poor it will be I proceeded to set it up. First of all; you do not need instructions. I had no problem figuring out on how to set it up. I had to go out and buy some cotton string to help set up the roof; but in total it took me no longer than 25 minutes to set up. I even slept in it that night. Sure I will admit it is a little thin, which honestly I like, it's easy to snug yourself in with the canvas bottom. As for the netting, it's not super sturdy but you do not need it to be. I live in mosquito land known as Texas, and did not get bit even once even though my shoulders would press against the netting in my sleep. It's sturdy, easy to set up, cheap in price, and does not take long. I'm a young man with no camping experience at all, I have never set up a tent or even a hammock and I really do find this product to be 5-stars. It's worth the little amount of money you have to spend to get it.

Sturdy but best used in dense forest to set up correctly
I do a lot of camping as a scout leader and wanted to opportunity to sleep in a hammock bug free. The heavy canvas bottom and bug free screen was put together well. As others have noted it is difficult to get in and out of i am 5'11'' and 185 pounds. Fairly limber and "fell out" as i tried to get out in the early morning. The zipper really needs to sip up the side, currently it is just along the bottom.I guess that the canvas stretched as the night wore on because I ended up in a deep v position about 3am, Quite uncomfortable. As a result I lowered the head and foot and slept on the ground. Worked out well. The hammock does have a tendency to burrito you in and the screen does rub against your arms exposing you to bugs. To combat this I put my inflatable Coleman sleeping pad in and it worked flawlessly. If I could change two things:1.) I would have put a pocket in the headliner for some small items: glasses, phone, flashlight. Having to leave these outside was a hindrance.2.) Have some type of support system in the top part. As it is now you need six trees: three at the head three at the feet to tie off the canopy. I camp in the south and if camping alone this would not be a problem. But staying close to others in a campsite made finding the correct amount and location of trees problematic. A small tent pole across the canopy at the head and foot would allow the canopy to be fully extended and you could tie it off to the same tree. Thus you would only need one tree at the head and one at the foot. For the price it was a good experiment, if i can't add a pocket to the inside and put tent poles across the top, I doubt i'll use it as a hammock tent.

NOT JUNK
I just got it and so far it appears to be rugged material, not cheep stuff. I was surprised at the quality compared to the price. I'd get another one. as far as walkin in the deep woods and needing a place to take a nap, there is no better way than off the ground in a mosquito net. I saw a review saying it was cheep- He was not honest. I know cheep and hate it.I will say there is not the canvas that is in the picture and no extra rope to tie it to a tree, it also says there is no directions, if you cant figure how to tie a not to a tree, stay at home. But It looks like its well worth buying.

good hammock
this is a good hammock, but it does not come with the necessary hanging equipment i had to buy that else where brings the cost to the same as my other hammock which i like better, this hammock provides a better view of whats around you the other hammock kinda blocks your view of everything but the sky :) heres the link to the other hammock i bought as well as this onehttp://www.amazon.com/Grand-Trunk-Skeeter-Beeter-Hammock/dp/B001AIFLX2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400364285&sr=8-1&keywords=Grand+Trunk+Skeeter+Beeter+Hammock the skeeter beeter comes with everything you need and is harder to fall out of

Review on Texsport Hammock
This hammock looks great from the outside, however, its very cheaply made. when I set up the tent it was hard to get the right height and was very uncomfortable to get into.Pros: its cheap for what it isits easy to carry aroundhas a decent mosquito netCons: does no tome with rainfly shown in some of the pictures. The side netting tore littlethey do not come with ropes to set it up and the entire thing is just uncomfortable.its extremely narrow on the insideits not fully water proofoverall i would recommend steering away from this hammock and spend the money on a bigger better hammock

Hammock
this is nice - and I feel better knowing nothing will be crawling on me, BUT there are no directions and I can't find any to hang this model, plus we don't have enough rope to hang the hammock and since the screen does not zip off all the way we can't use it without hanging the screen - so we are looking for rope or bungis to attach the top of the screen - if it were able to disconnect then we could use it with out the screen until we got the extra roping

Fairly light weight. Comes with long ropes for hanging the hammock, but you'll need to supply cord for securing the top. I used 550 cord. Be sure you secure the top loosely at first to allow for the lower part of the hammock to sink with body weight. If not you could tear the mosquito net from the hammock.
