Q: What fruit and vegetables can I grow in this?

I use mine for spices. Spearmint, peppermint, thyme, cilantro etc. It's not deep enough for proper fruit or vegetables

Q: Howany strawberry plants would you put in each pocket? One or two?

I would plant only one strawberry plant per pocket. Give each one ample room to spread.

Q: Would this work well with tomato plants?

Just my opinion but I would say no - more for herbs and flowers. I like mine - I have marigolds and wild flowers planted and they are doing pretty well but I can’t imagine a tomato plant.

Q: Can you use these in the house? Will water deep through?

No, they can not be used in the house, unless you have a few buckets to collect the water. The water seeps through for drainage. The material is thick felt with only plastic lining against the back face to prevent mildew (I imagine) if you put it on a wall.
