Installation required a quick rewire of the light fixtures. Definitely recommend going the removal of the ballast and the duel connection route. One fixture took 5-10 minutes to rewire and I am no electrician. Parmida includes a rewiring diagram with the bulbs, but I recommend doing a quick You Tube search and watch a couple videos. It's not difficult, but watching someone perform a task always helps me to do a better job. Rewired two fixtures and installed the new tubes in about 15 minutes. Tubes are nice and bright. Very happy with the purchase so far. Don't forget to flip the breaker to the lights before you start, the light switch isn't always enough.

The bulbs produced a bright light that was better than expected. The brightness far exceeded the original fluorescent bulbs. In fact, we ended spending more time cleaning the now-visible dirt in the garage than was spent installing the bulbs.The installation process was well documented, clearly describing the multiple wiring methods possible. Consider checking out some YouTube videos of the various methods before getting started. I used the search phrase 'LED tube ballast bypass'. These helped immensely due to my limited experience working with wiring.Unfortunately two of the four bulbs arrived shattered. The manufacturer's cardboard box was quite thin with no reinforcement to help prevent the long box from even minor bends. The foam lining was thin as well. Since two intact bulbs worked perfectly, I reached out to Parmida via e-mail for assistance instead of returning the 4-pack to Amazon. Parmida responded and ultimately shipped replacement bulbs. They arrived intact, thankfully.It might be worth purchasing the bulbs locally, if possible, to avoid any shipping issues. This wasn't an option for me, unfortunately.

I got this to replace a fixture with 2 bulbs where one of the bulbs was blinking. The whole install process was pretty easy enough and took about 1/2 hour from start to finish. The lights are pretty bright and the color matched the original lights which made everyone happy. The only down side is the light blinks whenever the Heater kicks in or the vacuum is turned on or whatever. I took 1 star off for that so 4 stars.

I like them and they arrived on time as promised but 8 pm. poor USPS driver.

I have ordered these type LED replacement tubes for many of my florescent fixtures as the ballasts burn out. Usually these arrive in a square package where the tubes are arranged in a 2x2 configuration. Along with the fact that the tubes are plastic helps them survive the stress of UPS handlers. However, these particular tubes are glass, and to make matters worse, their packaging is in a THINNER 1x4 configuration where the glass tubes are easily bent and broken. Three (3) of the 4 tubes I received in my shipment were broken. As soon as I picked up the package, I heard the broken glass inside the package.These lamps probably work great if you could buy and carefully handle them at a store. However, IMHO the combination of fragile glass and poor packaging design make these a risky purchase if you are depending upon delivery carriers. I would opt for the versions with plastic tubes from other vendors. 4000K light color is very good for general work area use.

Simple to install to replace old fluorescent lights. Bright and reliable.

Have had them in for a week in my 4 tube formally florescent fixture. They make more light and a higher quality spectrum of light. The colors of objects in the room is much more vivid. This is in a home office. These are ballast bypass lights. Eliminating the electric use of the Ballasts saves even more energy over and above just replacing the florescent tubes with LED.I also like that the tubes are glass which gives a nice heat sync for the let's and I believe clearer light than plastic. The downside of glass is that one of the tubes in the box of 4 was broken. They replaced it promptly. Had the replacement within 2 days. This far very happy with the purchase. I hope they last a long time. Warranty is 5 years.
