My Opinion
As are all the books in this series; it is very informative, but very UK oriented. Once you learn the British terms for supplies, solvents, and even stock,it is very much worth the investment, both in time and money. It is a bit wordy in places, but not enough to be distracting.

Very nice
Good book on home metal workshops. You will probably find a cheaper price on Amazon's UK site. Cannot recommend this book more highly.

Good book poorly packaged.
Good book, with a lot of information. The back cover and pages of the book are bent backwards as it had been pushed into packaging with packinge slip / advice note already in package. If this were a gift I would not be pleased with the condition of the book as it looks a little second hand.

Metalwork Workshop
Another book that could do with updating.Having said that it still contain a lot of very useful and pertinent informationfor the amateur workshop. An interesting little book.

A metalworkers 'Must have'
Harold Hill is a very readable writer. I like the way he puts things over to the less experienced reader.I already knew some of this stuff but also learnt one or two new tricks of the trade. A+++++
