Color:Pink | Size:Stage 1 (0-6m) Developed by a pediatric dentist to help prevent dental issues. Features a patented Suction-Free Air Channel, helping to reduce the suction and palatal pressure that can create dental issues such as cross bites. Soft, suction release bulb spreads wider as baby sucks for low-pressure comfort, plus thin-stem design is minimally intrusive on baby's mouth. Contoured "butterfly" shaped shield curves away from baby's face for comfort, plus allows plenty of room for little noses and cheeks. Made in the U.S.A. and BPA-free. Available in 0-6m, 6-12m, and 12m+ sizes. Developed By A Pediatric Dentist Parents asked for a pacifier that was easier on little mouths and promoted good dental health. Dr. Brown's went to work, partnering with a leading pediatric dentist to develop the oral pressure-reducing pacifier that moms are raving about. Helps Reduce Suction And Palatal Pressure The patented Suction-Free Air Channel features an opening in the pacifier nipple that makes it possible for the soft, suction-release bulb to easily widen as baby sucks. This reduces pressure in small mouths and helps to prevent future dental challenges. Designed For Baby's Comfort A contoured shield that is cut below the nose is designed to curve away from - and not make contact with - baby's face. A thin-stem design is also minimally invasive, helping to make for a comfortable pacifier experience.

Makes my kid gag
The shape of these are a bit odd, it's almost like a deflated balloon. We were using soothies during maternity leave, however daycare requested a butterfly pacifier because the soothies can't be labeled. We purchased 2 Nuk pacifiers from our local grocery store, and figured we'd get more. From the images, it appears as though the shape is the same, but in person, you can see the top is rounded and the bottom has an indent that seems to make our baby gag. Two stars because the shape of the butterfly makes it easy to identify the top and bottom in the middle of the night in a dark room.

Good pacifier
My daughter loves these pacifiers and I had bought a few from Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby. But I really wanted to be safe and buy a few more as back up and bigger sizes for as she gets older. They are normally 2 for $5.99 and I got 4 for $5.99 through Amazon. The ones I am currently using are 0-3 months that I bought from Buy Buy Baby and they have a white little handle with Dr. Brown's logo on it and a frosted sort of plastic. The ones I received from Amazon were a clear handle without the Dr. Brown's logo and a more clear pink plastic. At first I was weary but then I examined the others I still haven't opened and some were the white handle and some were the clear. I looked at the packages and the white somewhat frosted ones were manufactured in 2015 and the clear ones in 2016. My daughter is using these new ones with no problem. The ONLY problem I have is that they were delivered in a bag. The pacifiers were loose in a bag, not in the clear plastic container I usually buy them in. So I'm not sure why they came like that, but I didn't like it. i sanitized them for 5 minutes in boiling hot water AND washed them with hot soap and water. This is why I gave them 4 stars.

Not a sub for the Happy Paci
My baby loves the Dr. Brown’s Happy Paci, but it was not available on Amazon, so I decided to try these. I was hoping that the nipples would feel the same even though they’re a different shape and that the shape would help them stay in my baby’s mouth better. Unfortunately, my baby hates these and spits them out instantly.

These are great! They stay away from my baby's mouth which prevents her from having a mark on her face. They do still fill up a little bit with water when I wash them but I only have to squeeze the nipple a few times to get the water out. It helps to shake it as well. They are definitely a lot better than the NUK brand. Those left a mark on my baby face every time and I would have to squeeze them literally over 50 times just to get the water out of one pacifier. It drove me crazy! I love the Dr. Brown brand and highly recommend.

LOVE these! My daughter is now almost 2 and has been sucking on Dr. Brown's pacifiers her whole life. Her teeth are great! Though I see now that she is at the time where I need to get her away from pacifiers due to her teeth are getting bigger and there is slight evidence that she sucks on them. But i will forever love these and thank Dr. Brown for giving me peace and not effing up my daughtes teeth. When my son wants a passi. I will be handing him dr. Browns.. nothing else!!

Holds water and saliva
Our daughter preferred the blue all silicone Dr Brown's paci, but I couldn't find those so I ordered these... Very disappointed, the groove allows water and saliva to accumulate inside and my baby has choked from sucking the liquid down her throat. Will not be using these or recommending.

Great value. Not for my baby.
Value for money is good and they are durable. The only thing is that they didn’t work for my daughter so didn’t really get to use hem them.

This is the older style of the dr brown pacifier ...
This is the older style of the dr brown pacifier and we have noticed that where the the nipple part of the pacifier connects to the plastic is a small hole that allows baby's saliva to leak into the center where you can't clean it out. We only noticed it because baby still had some milk in his mouth when using it and the milky saliva filled in the pacifier. These will mildew.
