The following review is feedback I've received from my grandmother who is 80 years old suffers urinary incontinence, and is capable of fully expressing her needs, likes, and dislikes. Absorbancy: She feels the product compares to the Depends she was using previously though she still uses pads with the product because she drinks lots of water and has NO control over her bladder. She does this for two reasons: to extend the life of the product when she has light accidents and for long days when she might not be near a bathroom that makes it easy to change underwear. Comfort: This is where Tena really excels. My grandmother can't believe how soft and comfortable these are. When she was using the Depends brand underwear she would get tiny tears on the area of her skin that came in contact with the leg openings. This was incredibly painful for her and put her at risk of infection. This was my primary reason for searching for alternate options. In addition she says that this product is MUCH softer and less bulky than the Depends she was using. On occasion she still uses the Depends underwear (because we purchased them in bulk just before discovering this product) and her comments are always consistent; the TENA is a superior product. Price: While I wouldn't go as far as saying these are cheap I do think you get a good value from this product. They are about the same price as similar products and they do a better job meeting grandma's needs. As a caretaker I'm very happy with this product because I know my grandma is comfortable. I also love convenience of the Amazon Prime program. This discount makes the product cheaper than my local big box retailers, I don't have to make extra trips to the store, and the account history is a great way to track how much we spend on these products and how often she generally needs them. Other products that help make my grandma's situation more bearable: Tena Serenity Overnight Pads, Full Coverage, 30-Count Package Poise Bladder Protection Pads, Max Long, 42 Count (Pack of 4) Vagisil feminine wash with odor block protection skin - 12 oz Vagisil Deodorant Powder, 7.0 oz (Pack of 3) Update 05/2015: These underwear, continue to be my grandmother's favorite. Every so often, I will purchase a new/different product but she still contends that these are her favorite. Still, given the wide range of needs and body sizes, I recommend you try an assortment of products in your search to find the best product for an unfortunate circumstance. Good luck!

I had a bowel prep yesterday for a Colonoscopy today. I was worried it would leak while I was sleeping and it would have protected my bedding if I did because there were times I was laying down and that stuff comes out so fast, I would have had an even harder time had I had to clean all that ☺️ Then there's the drive there, I was worried I wouldn't make it without leaking what I wasn't prepared for was after the procedure I didn't stop leaking all day They puff you up with all this air and it just pours out of you for hours 😏 These things saved a lot of nwanted messes to clean 👍🏼 I'm 58 years old and never worn things like this but they are certainly more comfortable to sleep in than a pad for other reasons ☺️ And a lot better protection than a pad ✌🏼 They would be very bulky to wear out I am a very petite woman For what I wanted them for they were perfect

I have a family member who is in a nursing home but who is still very lucid and proud. I visited her a while back and was saddened to see the "diapers" they use there. They were way too big for my thin family member and so bulky. She likes go out to eat or visit her grand kids with her son and other loved ones but she had been been shying away from going places because she was embarrassed that the diapers leaked and looked so obvious. I bought her a package of these TENA panties hoping they would be absorbent and not too bulky at the same time. They were the only adult diapers that actually fit her very small frame and didn't gap or slide around. They were not bulky. I couldn't tell she had one on under her dress or her pants. My family member is, for the most part, completely incontinent as far as urination goes. She does detect whens he has to have a bowel movement but the aids at the nursing home don't always get there in time to help her to the toilet. These are really absorbent. All day absorbent. My family member told me that she has not had any leakage at all when wearing the TENAs that I got her and leakage was an everyday occurrence before. We took her out to lunch and she had a great time and was not worried about her appearance or leakage nor were we. It was great to have her back among us smiling and having a nice time. She is elderly but has a lot of life in her and something beyond her control should not stop her from enjoying every moment she can. I have since bought a few more packages of these diapers and left them at the nursing home. They don't always use them but it's more important when someone comes to take her out that she has these on. Leakage at the nursing home is not as embarrassing as it is when she is in a car or in public. She is very pleased with the fit, the comfort, and the absorbency of these and I will continue to pick her up some to have if only for her outings. They fit a woman who is about 117 pounds, 5'3" tall but stretch to accommodate larger women as well. However, I would say that these run smaller than depends and WalMart's own brand because my family member's son bought her both brand at different times and they were baggy and gapped in the leg area leading to leaks. TENAs have been the only adult diaper that has not ever leaked at all even after many hours. If only these were a pretty color and not so clinical looking, they would be perfect! But they do the job and gave my family member her confidence and pride back!

These pull-ups are softer, more comfortable, more absorbent, keeps skin drier, and fit better than Depends or Abena. I bought these for my 83-yr-old mother who weighs 87 lbs. and has dementia. She has congestive heart failure which means her heart does not pump efficiently enough to move fluids through the body and into the kidneys when she is upright during the day. Her body retains most of her fluid throughout the day which is then released in large quantities when lying down at night. The Tena super plus works well for her heavy nighttime incontinence. Occasionally the pull-up will leak at the leg elastic after a 10-hour night, but obviously that is pushing the limit for any product. Disposable waterproof bed pads come to the rescue by keeping the sheets dry. The only improvement might be for Tena to make a size "Small" instead of "Small/Medium" for very small people like my mother.

I buy these for my significant ogre's 88 year old mother. The panties are FINE...they like everything about them. I AM ANNOYED BECAUSE THE ITEM DESCRIPTION IS VERY WRONG. It says this: "2 of TENA Incontinence Underwear for Women, Protective, Small/Medium, 18 Count (Pack of 4), Sold by: Amazon.com LLC" We expected FOUR PACKS OF 18. What WE RECEIVED WAS HALF THAT. . . ONLY A BOX OF 2 PACKS, NOT 4. So far, I have been unable to get anyone to respond to my online inquiries but I am very disappointed.

Don't know these are marked as Small/Medium when they should be XS/S. Their shape is not ideal either, with the waistband being quite low and the leg holes really being suited to optimum leakage. This product, at this size, would likely be ideal for a very tiny person with light to medium incontinence and access to quickly change after each use. A shame, as my client had heard good things about the Tena brand, as had I.

The worst design in adult protection I've ever worn...Good Lord...bulky is an understatement...the backside is ok..except needs to be pulled up continually..the front sticks out enough where I could put a rolled up towel in it...they are not made for women....or the average fellow..perhaps a very WELL ENDOWED GENTLEMAN!!..you would only be suitable for bed time use...but you could never lay on your tummy and turning over is near impossible..so disappointed..They were reminiscent of diapers for my kids..though even those were better fitting..You get what you pay for I guess..I might have kept them because of the $ savings..but I was continually pulling the back up..I hate the feeling..* at first I thought I had them on backwards..nope..They are defiantly NOT FOR WOMEN..but I suspect care givers with bedridden clients..the poor design is not an issue..I returned them..please note...these were never meant for daily use..or to be worn under clothes..only in privacy of my home.. REVISED REVIEW..ONLY AFTER WEARING CAN YOU SEE THAT THERE IS HUGE POCKET IN THE FRONT.. THESE ARE FOR MEN..ONLY!! COMPANY HOPES. AND THEY ARE RIGHT..MOST WOMEN WILL PUT UP WITH IT..AT LEAST TILL FUNISHED THE BAG..OR GIVE AWAY...IT IS A LARGE PACKAGE..ITS A HASSLE TO WRAP THEN SEND BACK..EVEN WORSE To HAVE IT PICKED UP BY "intlcmr" SHIPPING. . Because they INSIST THAT I5 BE given to delivery fellow without wrapping or in a box...ird just to embarrassing.. The package photo is misleading and certainly fake!!..I'm very angry with the seller/ company

You sent me the wrong size. I’ve always ordered. Small medium and you sent me large., the large package and the small medium package did not even look the same. I do not understand how they could’ve got mixed up.
