Very pleased, ideal effect for a bedroom
I have a few Meross products, some sent to me for free, but these I saw on offer with £10 off. I have been looking for something to go under a bedroom desk & under the window sill. These seem ideal, I like the fact that they in addition to the sticky backed clips, the whole LED strip has adhesive too! They are really simple to set up. I use Android, so for me, it was 1) connect strips & plug in (before placing) 2) Set my mobile phone the wifi that the LED strip advertises 3) open the Meross app & follow a couple of simple instructions & voila, done. I also updated the firmware for additional features. One suggestion I would make to Meross is for the LED strips & controllers to also be sold separately. I have one of the 5m strips where I want it but would like to place the other a distance away, I cannot see anyway of extending from the controller to the light strip. Other than that small problem, I am very happy. :) Now I just have to fight with Google home to get routines working!

Good quality, Nice colours, Premium packaging and functionality. Intermittent luck.
Brightness is 4/5 because it’s not the brightest I have seen but still definitely really good and the colours are super nice. Value for money is 4/5 because there can be a lot of lag and delays and device randomly goes unresponsive, and thickness, well it’s a LED Strip they’re all pretty much the same thickness. The only negatives I have encountered are the fact you cant join the 2 5M strips together (supposedly you can with a included connector that connects to the LED Strip conductors but this didn’t work well at all couldn’t get it to work) they include a little plastic thing that attempts to join the two ends together by piercing the strip and connecting them, I tried for a hour and couldn’t get this to work was really a shame as it would have looked very good and this would be the worse bit out of it all for me. And the intermittent connections with the HomeKit (and even the manufacturer app) just randomly becomes unresponsive and says updating when it’s not but when it works It works really well. The strip was all in high quality packaging and the little hub / base was super tiny and easy to fit to my wall (as shown in pictures), No controller is included but of course is intended to be used by their app or HomeKit (which was super simple to set up) but the button on the controller turns it on or off if this fails. You can just pair with HomeKit instead of using their app which is nice, apparently works with Alexa and Google assistant however I haven’t tested this though I would have thought it works better with HomeKit as they can communicate directly instead of external servers. Delays when not on the network controlling the device through a HomeKit hub can be quite lengthy (and delays while on the network can be quite lengthy) but I recommend checking for updates in the manufacturer app ( this didn’t solve much for me). Overall super nice strip and the colours are nice and it’s good value for money just not excellent. Their own app is also a little limiting but works well when the connection is in a good mood to play. For a HomeKit accessory this isn’t badly priced especially with its functionality.

Great quality
I really like the Meross products and have far too many. This strip has a nice clear gel material over the LED strip which adds a feel of quality and increases the ease of use. I hacked this one to bits and used it under kitchen cupboards, soldered all back together so it all works as one. Easy install, reliable and responsive. My only slight criticism would be it’s inability to do white or shades of white. A similar strip I have of a competing brand (and half the price) does to white as you can remove the colour saturation.

Quite possibly the best HomeKit strip lights I've ever seen
So, I bought these in advance of installing them into my youngest teenage daughters bedroom when I finish decorating it, so no photos of the product in use yet, but; I have unpacked and tested these to see if they pair as easily and have the same high quality LED's as the Meross smart bulbs I bought, and I'm glad to say that, yes. Yes they do.They are also so ridiculously simple to setup and configure in Apple HomeKit, and as with the other Meross products I've recently purchased, the LED brightness and colour options are phenomenal. These will eventually be installed around a gaming desk in an alcove, so I'll add some photos then, but for quality and simplicity, you cannot beat this product. Meross will undoubtedly be my go-to brand for future HomeKit products, based on the experience with their products so far.

They're "okay" - do the job.
They're "okay" - they do the job. The led strips are fine at high brightness, but when used on low brightnesses it failed to produce colours slightly or even totally compared to other similar priced products. The LED controller it came with cannot even replicate a proper "white" colour (being it's NOT RGBW, white will never look truly white anyway), but it's way worse than any other normal RGB led strip, being pretty much normal light blue). Switching out the controller for a Magic Hue one fixed this mostly.Overall, if you just care about high brightness colours, it works well, and has Alexa/GoogleHome/Samsung Smartthings integration which works well, however, using it for any dim night lighting does not work at all.

Led delight
Love the Meross products, have installed a number of these throughout my house and have to say the quality is excellent, Alexa integration superb, …….however unfortunately Meross do not sell the power supply and controller unit separately so you cannot use any odd lengths of Led strip that maybe left over.
