They Work Well With Dremel Tools
These are great. I don't think they are supposed to last forever, and that's why they give you multiples. This is my first experience using these diamond tip bits, so I am not sure how the compare to a more expensive brand. I've only used these so far to etch a gemstone that I needed to fit in a setting and it worked well. The multiple sizes are nice. These attach to a Dremel just like any other attachment would. I like having these bit around because you never know what you will need them for. It's also nice to have tools around as an introduction to other hobbies or jobs that may use them in the future. I don't see how you could go wrong with these, especially with how affordable they are. I recommend these to anyone with a Dremel because even if you don't need them immeidately you likely will find a use for them in the future.

worth it
strong & long lasting bits, sturdy enough to handle high pressure & does the job wonderfully.

Beware of bent tips
All in all they are good quality and work well with what I’m using them for. I do lapidary and use them to drill into my pendants for the rings. Some material they have trouble going through, the only real complaint is I’ve had several that are not straight and are slightly bent and they make a sloppy hole in the material. Not all are like that I have had a few, think quality control should catch the bent ones. For the deal they work well.

Good Value
Bits work well for drilling holes in stained glass. They wear out faster than others Ive used but they come in a nice big pack! Great price and value.

Nice diamond drill sets
This 30-piece diamond drill bit set is a great value for detailed work on stone, glass, gemstones, and jewelry projects. The three included sizes make it easy to create different hole diameters, and the 1/8-inch shanks fit well in a Dremel or other rotary tool. The bits cut cleanly when used at a controlled speed with water for cooling. They are especially useful for sea glass, beads, and small lapidary projects. The variety and quantity are helpful because these small bits can wear over time, especially on harder materials. Overall, this is a practical and affordable set for hobbyists, jewelry makers, and anyone doing precision drilling.

It works but it takes practice.
New Review: After more attempts and talking to a professional glass worker I have discovered the trick to drilling through glass with these. Set the drill to the maximum speed possible. A Dremmel tool might not be at the fastest speed setting because it is faster than a drill. Firmly anchor the glass and the drill. The glass should be on a flat wood surface. Lubricate the glass surface with water. Slowly bring the drill to the surface of the glass. Do not apply any pressure. You should be supporting most of the weight of the drill. Initially the water lubricant will turn black. For most diamond drill bits this would mean that they are broken. For this set, it does not mean they are broken. I think the diamonds are coated with a thin layer of titanium or steel that is rubbing off. Replace lubricant every few minutes. After a few replacements it will turn white with drilling instead of black. The drill will drill faster. After you are halfway through, turn the glass over and drill from the other side. It takes about 10-30 minutes to drill through 2mm of glass. This is pretty slow, but it is in my price range so that is what matters in the end. Old Review: I bought these to use to cut FTO coated float glass. The instructions for using diamond drill bits are to use a low rotation speed, and apply only 8-16 pounds of pressure. Using a drill press I was not able to drill through glass using only 16 pounds of pressure, the bit never made it past the surface. When I applied more pressure the diamonds broke off from the surface and acted as a grit to abrade the surface. This did allow the drill to bite into the glass, but it took a very long time (about 15 minutes when higher quality products only take 3) at high pressure and RPM to drill through the glass. Unfortunately this amount of pressure also caused chipping around the edges of the hole and blowout at the other end of the hole, creating an ugly break cone. Each bit could only drill one hole this way before being discarded. Some bits snapped before they drilled through the glass. This product is useless to me. It is possible that these bits could cut into softer stone or sea glass, but for float glass it does not work.

Works on shells!
The drip bits have a blunt end not a pointed one

Holes in stones
Compatible with ROTARY TOOL good at various speeds, easy to insert bit into Rotary Tool, sharp cuts through beach stones quickly and easily, versatile with the ability to drill through stone and resin. Though, I use stone bits for stone only and the other bit for resin. Label in a zippy so I don’t make a mistake. The diamond bit material metal is strong and durable.. Other bits I purchased did not last long. Same bit used 30 times so far still cutting like butter. Would buy again.

Works on sea glass
Take your time, start at an angle and then vertically and keep it wet, we drilled in dish of shallow water. Took about 10 mins to go through 4mm of glass, could have been quicker but didn’t want to apply too much pressure .
