Flutterby Butterfly: A Slide-and-Seek Book

These slide books are my grandchild’s favorites. Bright colors get their attention and tabs that slide when you put your finger in them make new animals pop up. Unlike tab books they don’t rip easily- only the favorite one (of four) is showing signs of wear and tear after 2 years of almost nightly reading. Great purchase!

Got this for my toddler classroom and the children love them. They are very sturdy books.

I love these books by Emma Parrish. The pages are super sturdy, the illustrations are bright and colorful, and my nanny babies love to read them. They come in handy when I am reading to a preschooler and a toddler sibling, as the preschooler can manage the sliders and the toddler can shove the pages back in before we turn the page. I purchased this and  Hoppity Frog: A Slide-and-Seek Book  Hoppity Frog, and they remain favorites in both my nanny households. So far these books have held up well, and have been lent out and returned to me in excellent condition. I am excited for the next books to come out, and have preordered Little Owl Says Goodnight and Busy Bear's New Home which will be released on August 30, 2016.

My 2 and 3 year old grandsons love searching for Flutterby Butterfly. Both the story and the hands-on moving parts appeal to them. The story is simple enough to make a good book for them to "read" to themselves. And it doesn't show wear after many many readings.

This book is a fun “active” read. Every turn of the page has a different slide to move. Bright colors, cute story, sturdy construction. When they choose a book themselves, this one is a favorite.

This book was trashed. It had dents and wear and tear all over it. This was not a brand new book. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Daughter loves these book pushing them up and down rather than just lifting flap books. We now have the others in the collection

My neice is 10 months old and is completely in love with this book. All the pages are very colourful and is successful to engage the child.It's perfect book to introduce book reading.
