Digidesign Digi 003 Rack + Factory

It was shipped to a wrong address instead of 1375 e hacienda it was sent to 3175 also the product did not come with pro tools disks that are usually included with digi 003 but it's here and it works so thank you

The 003 just does the job for me. I have used mine for the past few years now and it is still kicking without any hiccups. Running protools 9 with the waves bundle has been nice. Overall the product has just worked, nothing bad to say. Go out and get one!

Pros: I Was about to buy a Digi 003 Console, but then I saw the price for this I said "a $1000 more for a big mouse, no way".... I got this as a step up from the digi 002... what's not to love about this... 8 XLR, 8 1/4", MIDI, AUX, free iLock.Cons: The bad thing is if you have windows 7 the installation disc is garbage it does not work (blue screen of death)NOTE! this does work with windows 7 you just have to download the free update ProTools 8.04 from the avid website. The nice thing is all your plug ins are in the iLock, so all you need to do is plug and play.Other Thoughts: Cross upgrade to Pro Tools 9 is discounted, but still in the $300 - $400 range, not worth upgrading at the moment.

While there is a learning curve to ProTools software (if you haven't used it before) the flexibility of this package is a small studio's dream come true.
