I am an organic lip balm junkie and have used a large variety of natural, organic brands over the years.Mode De Vie Karite Lip Balm is my absolute, all-time favorite - Oh my goodness! I simply adore it and I cannot be without it!My lips used to be dry, flaky and peeling - ever since I have used Mode De Vie, my lips are so soft and supple with no dryness at all!I also apply it to my very sensitive upper eyelids and any dryness magically disappears!Mode De Vie is a healing balm, has a pleasant vanilla flavor and a BIG bang for the buck!An old flame from college days recently told me that my lips are just as soft as they were in college, lol

***LIP BALM FORMULA CHANGED***Delivery was on time and packaged appropriately.However, I noticed the ingredient list was different. My original, wonderful tube of Shea butter vanilla lip balm listed shea butter 2nd on the list. The new formula has candelila wax, castor oil and cocoa butter, & shea butter 4th down the list! It goes on with slight resistance and feels "waxy" versus "smooth and rich" with the original formula.The smell is more wax with a faint vanilla smell. It's still better than Chapstick brand, but not as good as original formula, especially for the high price of the tube.I am not going to buy this product unless the original formula is restored.

This is great stuff that moisturizes your lips and heals them too.

I will not use another ChapStick, and haven't for 8 years. This is the very best.

Karite Lips Vanilla is my all-time favorite lip balm. Many years ago we had a winter that was unusually cold for Los Angeles, and my lips were always chapped, which never happened before, since I had always used some kind of lip balm. I asked my homeopathic doctor what I could use, and he recommended Karite Lips. It took care of the chapped lips problem right away and I've used it ever since. Some reviewers have said that it's pricey, but one tube lasts a long time, and it's worth it. Women think nothing of spending more on a lipstick, but those are just for looks, and Karite Lips is for the health and comfort of your lips as well as their appearance. Also, my lips are very sensitive to any perfumes or flavorings, and Karite Lips Vanilla doesn't bother me at all. There is a mild, pleasant natural Vanilla scent, but once you put it on there's no taste. I highly recommend this product. Incidentally, they also make a version that has a light red tint. I didn't like that one because there's something in it that irritated my lips.
