Quick Reference to Critical Care

I have used and recommend this book to all of the critical care RNs I have had the pleasure to teach over the years. The information is concise easy to ready and hits the important info new nurses need when beginning their journey into critical care. This purchase was for my daughter.

Very useful for critical care unit. I was recommended this book and I agree with the recommendation. Not very big so I can keep it at my desk and refer to it while I work. It is basically goes by each system and defines terms, has black and white pictures, has charts or lab values, and various other items related to nursing care.

I love this book. It has so much information but its not overwhelming. Just go to whatever illness or procedure and it hits the high points on what you need to know.

This is a very detailed reference and I have made good use of it many times. The only negative issue is the type is very small, but it's a necessity if the book is to be pocket size.

This book is really good to have as a critical care nurse. A co-worker of mine who swears by this book recommended it to me and that's why I bought it. It has really good info. Highly recommended this book.

It’s one of the best ones out there!

An all encompassing coverage of the main issues challenges faced by those working in the critical care arena..The writer is obviously well experienced in this area of practice and the writing is concise.

Amazing resource!

Has a lot of useful information in there, however I don't grab for it as much as I thought I would. I find that usually I'm too busy on my unit to even look at it. But I don't think that's the books fault? Perhaps it could be more user friendly?
