An nice, inexpensive drape alternative
I have not used a lot of sleep masks, but this certainly seems about as nice as you could hope for. And less than half the cost of other high end sleep masks. (I bought two as I was sure they published the wrong price) Fits well, is adjustable (2 elastic bands, no velcro), thick, padded and contoured to keep out light. I use it for an afternoon nap and don't have to close the curtains. Probably great for travel especially with the ear plugs. Not sure what may happen if you needed to wash it. Update: Had this mask for a while now and still use it on a regular basis. The elastic bands are now twisted a bit although still fully functional. Velcro may have been a better, neater option, but really, you still can't beat the price, comfort and quality. And it appears the mask is now even less than what I paid! (idea-if you are of that age group where friends go into the hospital a bit-buy a dozen and give one instead of a dumb magazine or flowers. They'll appreciate it.)

Nearly perfect product, totally perfect price.
I have tried almost every sleep mask available online or at my local stores and I prefer Mack's over all the others. The convex shape keeps the mask off my eyeballs and the adjustable, double straps ensure a perfect fit without the puckering that single, thin straps cause when cinched snuglyn nor the bulk of the single, wide straps with Velcro closures on other masks. The cut out for your nose allows the mask to fit most faces with no light leakage. I wear mine over my CPAP mask and still get a good fit. My only complaint is that the masks don't last long enough, IMO. I get three to four months of use before either the elastic straps come loose from the mask, even though they are stitched, not glued, on; or the layers of the mask itself start to separate. However, for the price, I can buy three of these a year for less than the price of one of the higher priced products that don't fit. Plus, Mack's gives you a nice carry case and a set of earplugs. Not every mask can fit every face, but the price makes these the best choice to try first.,

Comfortable, but with a minor drawback
I have been using this mask almost every day for about a year and a half, and I'm on my third one. The good things about this mask is that it is good at blocking out the light. There is always going to be some light leakage when you roll over in bed and it rubs against a pillow, but this one does not leak as much as others I've tried. It also is pretty comfortable, as far as masks go. The contours of the mask don't put pressure on your eyes, which is good. It also has two elastic straps so one will go over the ears and the other will go under. I've tried a mask that only has one strap, which I didn't like because it has to go on top of the ears which is uncomfortable. Trying to put it either under or over the ears makes it ride too high or too low, which allows in light. The main complaint I have about this mask is that the elastic straps in the back wear out over time and stretch out. They are only a couple millimeters wide, so they will loose their elasticity fairly quickly. You can tighten it when that happens. However, after you tighten it several times it gets to the point that it won't tighten anymore. At that point, the straps don't hold it close enough to your head, so light leaks in. At that point, I order a new one. Each mask has lasted from 4-6 months. If you are looking for something to use on a daily basis, plan to get a new one about that often (although they cost little enough that this shouldn't be too much of a problem). If you are looking for something to use on only an occasional basis, it should work great for you.

Very comfortable
I like the fact that they have dual straps. That makes them more adaptable to my head.

Not Great for Side Sleepers
I purchased this and another contoured mask when I thought I had lost my Sleepmaster. I liked the style at first and this one was definitely more comfortable than the other (the purple one, can't remember the name, but it was twice the price) since it has two straps in the back and I was able provide a more stable fit. This offered good black-out and was comfortable while resting on my back. But I am a side sleeper primarily, and also I'm fairly restless. If this got turned askew on my head, I had to readjust with my hands, which pretty much happened whenever I slept on my side. The pillow pushed on the side of the mask and created a sizeable gap through which light would stream. Also, I really can't tolerate earplugs. I don't like the feeling of them and I don't feel safe when I wear them because I feel like I'd miss a fire alarm or something. I wore this for about two weeks and never could get used to it. So, when I finally realized that I "lost" my Sleepmaster at a hotel, I called lost and found and was able to retrieve it. I know people don't like them because they press against your eyes, but the satin material is slick enough that I can just adjust my head with a little pressure against the pillow and the mask slips down in the back and relieves the pressure; I don't have to use my hands. Also, the Sleepmaster covers my ears, and while it's not soundproof, it muffles the sound just enough for me. So, I apologize for hijacking this review, but for anyone considering changing from a Sleepmaster to a contoured mask, you probably won't like it. I'll save this for sleeping on airplanes.

Good product
Continues to be a personal favorite. The elastic has cheapened in quality

Finally Relief for Migraine Eyes
I have suffered from migraines most of my life, and we're talking decades here. One of the things that I've had difficulty with is finding the perfect curtains and/or eye shades to block out the light. This sleep mask is the bomb. The first time that I put it on, I was amazed at how truly black it was. Absolutely no light leaked through. I sat in the recliner, pulled the lap throw and put on the sleep mask. It was nearly blissful, if one could get past the throbbing, stabbing pain. That bliss was short lived as Abigail, the fabulously furry feline, came unglued: meowing and digging at the mask. I lifted the mask to glare at her and she gave a good sniffing to the mask and my face and that was that. The only other time that the mask gets in her way is when she is trying to get me up from a nap and she's figured out how to slip her paw under the mask to pull it off. (I should mention that Abigail was declawed before I inherited her so the digging at my face, while annoying, does not cause injury.) I am now able to sit in my recliner or lie on my bed without the risk of the bright lights. Even with Abigail's occasional pulling on the mask, the elastic has stayed tight. For one of the other debilitating "side effects" of migraines, a sensitivity to noise, I strongly recommend Flents Quiet Time Soft Comfort Ear Plugs . I also find these useful when my co-workers are either extra chatting or just plain loud. Oh, and the curtains are a lost cause with a cat who's into windowsill pacing.

Best sleep on an overnight flight
I've been a big fan of Mack's earplugs for years and bought this sleep mask based on that. I used it on an overnight flight (because of course I was seated diagonally behind someone who watched movies all night on their seatback monitor). I cared more about sleep than looks, but was happy to have my child model it and see that it actually looks pretty sleek and "serious" looking, not goofy. It packs up small in its own drawstring bag, making it easy to keep track of the included ear plugs, as well. It took a bit of adjusting to get the double elastics just the right size, so you might want to do that at home before you use it. I was afraid it would feel constricting and bother me, but it was so soft, didn't come near touching my eyes, and worked great. I handed it off to my child to use on an upcoming trip, but will definitely get it back so I can use it again. Highly recommended if you are a picky sleeper like myself. I combined this with "Memory Foam Travel Neck Pillow U Shaped - Reduce Neck Pain, Tiredness - for Plane, Car, Bus, Train Traveler - Also for Rest, Work at Computer, Studying, Reading - Carry Bag, Blue Velour Cover by PGH" also from this site.

Angenehm weich

The luxury of being able to blink without your eyelashes scraping on the mask is just great :)
Very quick delivery and for the price i paid, the product is great! Great quality and comfortable (even if it looks like a sports bra) and as said above, it is great being able to blink with the sleep mask on. A bit of light comes in under the nose but i do have a rather large nose and i assume the product is made for the average nosed person.

Great product. Very happy.
I love this mask. Itโs comfortable and effectively blocks out the light. I would buy it again.

Highly recommended
Have bought 3 of these now: my original, one to replace it after lots of use, and one for my mum. I couldn't be without mine now, it is so comfortable and blocks light out well enough to sleep after a night shift. Mum has had the same experience and is very pleased with hers too.

Disappointed with the product in general
The sleep mask is not comfortable. It is rigid and not form fitting to the face. The elastic straps are not big enough, even when extended to it's maximum length and remains tight around the head. The mask tends to get dislodged when sleeping. The material is a cheap synthetic and doesn't feel nice against the skin.
