I am a programmer and a gamer. So, I do a LOT of typing everyday. I was tired of the membrane keyboards and was missing my old mechanical keyboard. So, I got the G512 and they are amazing!On the very first day, I felt that the tactile feeback isn't as great as my previous keyboard because my previous one had Blue switches. However, soon enough I got used to the subtle but noticeable tactile feedback of the Brown switches. Also, they are fairly silent so my wife doesn't get annoyed by all the typing.One complaint I have is that the G key was not working correctly. It would miss the clicks sometimes and sometimes it would double-click on a single press. So, I opened it up and applied some alcohol and it has been working great since then. I do not have Logitech center near my home and it was lockdown time, so I couldn't get it replaced. Otherwise that would have been my first choice. Also, due my bad habit of having long nails, the matt polish around the edges of D and F keys is coming off. That's a slight bummer but it's something I could have avoided by cutting my nails regularly :(I have been using it for 3-4 months now and so far, so good! The matt black finish looks sexy and the backlighting is awesome! Overall I am super happy with the purchase.

The key switches are great but the LEDs are just opposite. It took 9 months for the LEDs to fail / stop working. Randomly some keys were not having their LED working specifically the blue once. I got the product to be replaced as it was in warranty period but the new once still suffers from the same issues. For the cost of this keyboard I excepted better quality from logitech.

+ Tactile keys are soft and not so noisy+ Soft to touch+ Good response time+ Sturdy, so it feels+ Brushed aluminium plate gives solid base+ USB slot+ Colors programmable via software- Very narrow; no palm rest- Heavy bottom and pads make it slightly difficult to slide casually.- Keyboard is not usable when powered off; you cannot read letters on keys- Programmable Fn keys symbols not easily visible; you need to throw light to see the symbols- No NUM lock indicator- No SCROLL lock indicator- USB slot doesn't piggy back on single connector. If you use the USB slot in keyboard, you need to plug in the connector in your machine.- Expensive; I got it for 8KMy piece came damaged: the aluminium plate is slightly bent (perhaps due to some impact) at right bottom corner. No impact on functionality, but not giving 5 stars for damaged item.

The media could not be loaded. It's now been a couple of months since I purchased this keyboard. I was blown away when I first started using this. This is my first mechanical keyboard (ignoring the "pseudo-mechanical" one from TVS). Typing experience is just great - that's what I mainly use it for (I am a controller person). The multiple brightness levels are definitely useful - especially at night.Btw, this keyboard looks really amazing with the white double shot PBT keycaps from HyperX. I'd suggest you to get them as well if you can afford 2k more. Do note that not all the keycaps are replaceble - because of the non-standard sizes for certain Logitech keys.

With just under 3 months of use.. keys have started to pop out on my so called.. "Mechanical" Gaming Keyboard. Also, the wire is no longer braided as previous release.. clear example of cost cutting.This was my hard earned money that's been wasted, you can save yours..

I have bought this around summer of 2020. By 2023 the K key has double typed issue or sometimes it doesn't register. I talked to service centre they said it is irrepairable because it is out of warranty. So we cannot even repair it by paying. It is sad that such an expensive keyboard has lower build quality than a membrane keyboard. Other than that, it was great while it lasted.

It is a very good mechanical keyboard, it is not too noisy, and has a nice tactile feedback, and keys are easy to press, the only con Is that it does not have a wrist rest, and the shift letters are not illuminated and are painted with a black-ish color, so they are hard to see even in moderate light.

The keyboard has an amazing feel to it when typing. for the price, one of the better mechanical keyboards you can get.

Great feel and is really sturdy.

Pros:- good feel when typing- feels solid / sturdy / no slip- the rgb looks goodCons:- the keys have black paint that wears off (~ 2 years in my case)- the space bar is a non-standard size, may be hard to get a replacement key cap.Summary: I like this keyboard enough to buy a second one as a gift (with a set of double shot pudding key caps)

I trust this brand all the way. My last keyboard lasted 7 years. Only replaced ot as some of the keys were faded

Keys feel great and not too clicky in sound level. Surface metal plate feel gives it a high quality and solid feel.
