MAGIC POTION: THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED
I can’t give this product the stars it deserves. I tried every type of ear cleaning treatment for my Doberman’s left ear and nothing worked. It had been a year dealing with it and I felt so helpless. He couldn’t even play without someone accidentally touching his ear and him yelping because it hurt and then he would think it was on purpose. I saw someone’s review explaining their struggle and they ended by stating that they were to the point of considering having their dog put down; I wish I could comment on his review thanking him for such honesty because that exact comment is why I decided to go ahead and make yet another purchase. I could instantly tell that this product and results were different than any I’ve tried before. There were immediate results and it didn’t even take a week for his ear to be completely healed. It has been 7 months and I’ve not had any issues since. The purple dye is worth a clean and healthy ear. The scent is much preferred over the nasty ear infection smell.

Great for my dog
This is the only ear wash that I will use on my dog. As a puppy she was notorious for ear yeast infections. I love that this is a natural way to help yeast, bacterial, and fungal. (Obviously if its bad enough you still may need prescriptions from a vet) ut most of the time this helps! I now use this once a week! The purple does stain so i usually do it outside. It smells strongly like rubbing alcohol so if they have open skin I wouldnt recommend it.

Works as intended
Works well to clean ears however, it does have a strong chemical smell and it is purple in color, so there’s a risk for staining. I used it during baths so the color would wash out of the fur and so my dog would not fling purple dye around my house and possibly stain something.

good product
This has proven to be a good product for my lab. I was pleased with the results of the first bottle, so I have just purchased my second.

Day two & my dog’s ear is healthier than it’s been in 3 years!
My 5 year old Rottsky has had yeasty ears since I got him at 1 year old. They have always seemed to itch him and they always smell a bit like fritos.😂 Usually I clean his ears weekly, and I use zymox whenever I start to notice excessive buildup or head shaking, which has kept it mostly under control. But since early this spring his ears got worse than ever. He’s allergic to something (having an allergy panel done soon), apoquel isn’t helping and his immune system has been sluggish. He developed SUPER bad yeast infections in both ears and a bacterial infection in his right ear. Multiple rounds of antibiotics from his vet, medicated ear rinses, allergy shots, an ear swab sent to an external lab to pinpoint the type of bacteria, and his bacterial infection was still going strong. My poor boy was head shaking, holding the infected ear low towards the floor, lethargic, and sharply yelping any time I even accidentally brushed by his ear let alone clean it or put a med in it. I ordered this after seeing the reviews & yesterday late morning I flushed his ear with it. When I squirted it in his ear and began to rub it, he yelped but seemed to relax and tolerate it ok so I don’t think it burned him. He shook it out and I wiped his ear clean, tons of yellow and brown gunk came out. Went on about my day & noticed he was up and active more than he’s been in weeks by dinner time. I woke up this morning to him playing with our cat like his normal energetic self! There was much less ear shaking, and I even saw his affected ear standing up when my daughter whistled at him to serve his breakfast. I cleaned his ear with it a second time today, and there was NO YELPING! Not when I held his ear to put the liquid in, not when I rubbed under his ear to swish the cleaner around, and not when I wiped it out. AND THERE WAS NOTHING ON THE WIPE BESIDES THE SOLUTION!! No gunk, no pus, zero crust or buildup in his ear AT ALL!!! His ear looks clean and light pink, so HEALTHY! And he’s holding his head up straight! Playing way more today, not yelping when I scratch his neck too close to his ear, NOTHING! His ears haven’t been this clean and pain-free EVER, there’s always at least a little bit of yeasty gunk in them even when I finish a round of zymox!! If his ear is this much better on only day TWO, I have complete faith that this will be the last product I’ll ever need to keep his yeasty ears in check for good and ward off bacterial ear infections!! Thank you Dr. Beasley for finally giving my baby boy some relief!

Soooo much alcohol!
I chose this product because it mentions being "burn free". I looked at several other options and opted not to purchase them due to the alcohol content. I didn't see alcohol associated with this product and noticed that it contained boric acid (which I thought was supposed to be the substitution for alcohol). I received it today. It smells like 90% rubbing alcohol. The ingredient list reads alcohol, boric acid, and gentian violet solution. I would not use this on any dog with an ear infection - with infection comes open skin, which means BURNING!!! Do the responsible thing (that I didn't initially do) & call your vet to get an antibiotic/antifungal ear wash or a Rx. I don't think many vets would recommend using this product to TREAT an infection. Once it is cleared up, this might work as a 1-2x/week rinse to keep it from coming back. Would you want someone spraying alcohol on an open cut, wound, or irritation that you have? Also, I paid nearly $30 for a bottle of mostly rubbing alcohol - ridiculous.

Worked for chronic doodle ear infections!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: We've had this product for about 4 months. We used it daily for the first week and then again a couple weeks later for just a few days. And now use as a periodic ear cleaner just for maintenance. No more itchy red stinky ears. No more head shaking. Our dog is much happier and we have cut the vet bill down to just normal check ups. In the same amount of time prior, we used prescription ear ointment for our Golden doodle probably about 5 separate rounds. The prescription would clear things up for as long as we were using it and then just seemed to come right back. With this product we've completely ended the cycle and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. The amount of discomfort our dog was facing without real relief from the vet was frustrating and expensive. This was definitely worth trying and I'll be buying again when this bottle is running low.
