Good quality for the price, nice budget heart rate monitor as described
the item works great, as described, it is actually very good quality for the price, i expected less. my problem is that i bought it for exercise and the Coospo app is solely for bike rides it is called Coospo ride and i cannot do anything else i actually deleted the app i had to use the monitor with other apps, it connects very well switches on as soon as you wear it. i think it's a good little piece of equipment for a low budget and works with a lot of other apps.

For the money, best HRM I’ve owned so far.
So I’ve used this for 2 months now. I train 10+ hours a week, cycling, running and weightlifting in the gym. Over the years I’ve been through 3 Wahoo Tickr and 4 Garmin HRM Pro heart rate straps. Both of these branded Heart rate straps have not lasted me longer than 6- 12 months before stopping working. When my 3rd Wahoo died on me I decided to take a gamble on the cheapest HRM I could find for a mad laugh as I had nothing to lose considering I seam to have no luck with straps twice and 3 times as much as this one. So far it’s been spot on. It’s accurate, responsive and comfortable (more comfortable than my more expensive ones). The data is clean and doesn’t drop out and it beeps twice when it’s connected and once when it’s disconnected. This is such a handy feature in my opinion. I’m an extremely heavy sweater and it has stayed functional when drenched. Only thing that you need to make sure you do with this monitor is to disconnect the unit from the strap when you have finished using it otherwise it seams to drain the battery. I’m interested in how long this will last compared to my previous far more expensive straps that let me down so often in the past. Don’t be put off by the low price as this seams to be a quality product.

Not fit for purpose
Unfortunately, I found this not fit for purpose. I tried to use it with a rowing machine. It seemed to pair OK the first time and worked fine. But then, when I subsequently tried to use it, it was very inconsistent. When starting a row it would double beep to say it was working, but then after a few seconds, beep to say it was off again. And in the meantime, it did not pair up with the rower. I'd then take it off the strap, moisten the strap to get it to double beep, but again it never seemed to pair straight away with the rower and very quickly beeped to say it was off again. So I'd then start rowing as I don't have time to keep trying to pair it up. And sometimes it never paired up. Sometimes randomly, after a few minutes into a row, it would double beep. Then it would, very occasionally, pair up and work fine. But mostly it would eventually double beep and pair up, and either give readings that were randomly jumping all over the place. Or gave erroneous low readings for a few minutes, and then eventually after about 10 minutes into a row, give sensible readings.I am sending it back, and in the meantime, invested in a Polar 10. And in the two times I have used that, it paired up within seconds. And then gave sensible, consistent readings throughout my entire rowing sessions. Yes, it is a little bit more expensive, but worth it.I may have got a faulty one as it is clear they are not all like this from the reviews. But the one I got was unfit for purpose.

Good performance & value, but battery life may be limited
Incredible value for money - more compact than a previous CooSpoo strap I've owned for a while now, which I bought to use with my turbo trainer & Zwift due to Bluetooth. The green light indicating connection is possibly handy, but seeing as the strap's under clothing, seems gimmicky.Connection is quick/reliable and readouts fine - no spikes/dropouts so far.Only problem is I've had to replace the CR2302 battery already, despite fairly light use. I think the green LED band that flashed could drain it a little; however, I think the biggest issue is that it starts beeping & flashing whenever I get near it with my Garmin 920XT watch or my phone, as if it detects the Bluetooth & is trying to connect. If so, this could explain the battery drain (it was the supplied battery I replaced, so I'll see how this one lasts).Other than that, a great strap & much cheaper than Garmin etc.*UPDATE August 2020*Came back from a few days away, put strap on, set off on bike...noticed no HR reading. Yes, battery had died again! Have contacted Amazon for refund as, having now read other reviews, looks like constant battery replacement likely. A pity - the cheaper CooSpoo strap I use on the turbo is still going strong...

Easy to use
Works really well, coosporide app. Unfortunately the app doesn't keep a record...

Fast accurate readings, even post surgery
Although this monitor is designed for anyone wanting to track their fitness, I bought this for my husband who had heart surgery a few months back and has heart rate targets for exercise, so he needs a way to track his heart rate. He had tried a fitness smartwatch, but prefers this chest monitor for several reasons.First it is very comfortable, he forgets he's wearing it. The back of the sensors need a little water on them, then it beeps twice to indicate it has picked up the heartbeat, it connects automatically to his phone with the app Wahoo Fitness and gives constant readouts, there is very little lag, if any.During surgery both wrists had deep incisions which can still make watch wearing a problem, but this monitor sits over the main chest incision and causes him no discomfort at all. A supersoft material is used for both the strap and the sensors with no uncomfortable joins or seams. It is discreet and won't catch on clothes. The app tracks exercise over time, there is a list of suggested apps in the instruction leaflet, I expect many other apps would be compatible as well. The price is great compared to similar products out there and the CR2032 battery will be easily replaced when necessary as it's a common type, we actually have spares already as it's the same battery as a previous car remote of ours.Very happy with it.

All seems good!
Strap connection is simple and effective. Connectivity to various devices went without issue. Great price versus my usual HR sensor and as previous one didn't last that long i have no desire to pay the current RRP for the same. Safe 👊
