fantastic classic drill driver and a must for your toolbox
The Dewalt DCD771B 20V MAX Cordless Lithium-Ion 1/2 inch Compact Drill Driver is a fantastic classic drill driver and a must for your toolbox. It's very easy to use, from beginner homeowners to professionals. Dewalt is known for its durability and sturdiness, and the 20V MAX platform offers plenty of power and excellent battery life, even with the lower amp hour smaller batteries. I find i can drive 3 1/2" deck screws just fine even with small 1.5 ah batteries with this great driver drill.

LOVE my Dewalts!! Every one is great. Battery life, tool operation etc. Have twin daughters that are both doctors and have them hooked on the brand as well. They have almost as many tools as I do.

Works Great! Just like the original.
Still running in February of 2026! I use it fairly often for household repairs because it is dependable and durable. Easy to hold onto. Charges up quickly to allow you to get back to the project in case you misjudged how much time was left. I bought the bare tool, as I already had the battery from other drills, after the first drill was stolen by a mover. No complaints at all.

Small light. Otherwise, great drill.
Works great. I didn’t realize it has such a tiny little light. I often work in low light situations do the light is important. Just want others to know. This is a really good drill if you don’t need the light and the price is right.
