Order a size up for shrinkage
I'm about 5'8" and only ~130lb or so, I'm pretty small and skinny, which is why I finally decided to go with skinny fit pants; they'll actually fit me!I ordered the same size I have in other baggier work pants and straight fit jeans first, and they shrunk in the wash a bit too much for my liking. If they were baggier straight fit pants I don't think it would have been as much of a problem, but since these are skinny fit to begin with the change is noticeable. For reference my other pants are 32x30 both for jeans and work pants. I ordered 32x30 in these Dickies and they shrunk both in the waist, width and length of the legs too much. So I returned them and ordered a 33x32 and they fit way better for me after a wash and shrinkage. One immediate criticism I have is the belt loops being slightly undersized. Don't get me wrong, MOST belts will fit just fine in them. But I have a double thick belt that's 1.5" wide and it is tightly squeezed in the loops. I have never had any jeans or other pants where it was this tight of a fit with this exact belt, even being as big as it is.All this said so far I'm loving the pants, they're my first run at slim/skinny fit pants, which I probably should have done sooner being the size that I am. I only just got them so the question of longevity I won't be able to answer, but compared to other pants on the market these are cheap enough I don't really expect them to last as long as work pants twice the price. Hopefully they last for years, I won't bang 'em up too much.

Better than the original fit duckies.
This is the best fit , skinny fit , tailored. The best and would never recommend any other style in the dickies brand. This is true to size and they look amazing on my husband. For work or for play you can wear for either. I highly recommend as they are very affordable and durable as well. Wow they look sexy in my guy!!

Good, not great, very low rise
Long story, I’ll try to be succinct, I’ve lost a lot of weight recently and a good chunk of that came from my legs. What once were (imho) thick muscular legs became little old man sticks! I decided to give “skinny” pants a try as they would likely be more form-fitting. My first pair I got in a 28/30 and they’re just a tad too small, the 2nd pair I got 30/30, they fit, but given their low rise, if probably be best with the 29, which is to say, they run true to size.Pros, they are truly skinny pants. They’re flexible and comfortable, and if u have skinny legs, they fit appropriately. The cons, for me, the biggest is the low rise, meaning a very short zipper/fly. This has proven an issue when trying to simply go to the restroom, along with that short fly, the button closure is STIFF and hard to work for someone like me with nerve damage to my left hand. So imagine having to desperately relieve yourself and not being able to use the fly nor unbutton the pants!! Since the fly won’t get any longer, hopefully the button with become more workable over time and easier to operate…🤞🏻For the time, I’m satisfied with these 30/30s and after a few washes , hopefully they will loosen slightly and become more pliable. Overall, they’re a solid 4/5 for me.

Best work pants I've found!
My husband is 6 feet tall and has a thin muscular build. Finding work attire for him can be a disaster due to his job. He installs satellites, which requires him to climb ladders, crawl across hot roofs, climb under houses and bury cable lines. And he has to do this all while dressed professionally but also comfortably. This particular pair of Dickies hits every need. They're comfortable, he can actually bend and move without any restriction to his movements, without any discomfort to his groin area (some pants are way too tight in that area). He says the fabric is light enough that his skin can breathe but they're thick enough that he isn't ripping holes in the knees or back pockets due to carrying tools around. Of the 6 different brands of pants I've purchased for him, this pair of Dickies has outlasted them all and he requested I only buy this style from now on. Despite being slim cut, the pants still cover the top of his heavy steel toed boots, an issue we've had with other slim fit styles. As the person doing his laundry, I've found these pants extremely easy to keep clean despite the type of stains he gets on them.Hands down, great pants for tall, slim guys. If you're really muscular or heavy these may be too snug for you but for someone who's thin, I think these will be a perfect pair of pants. They're a great price and a great quality.
