Great DIY Home Project Tool
I was very pleased with this Knoweasy zip tie tool while doing some small DIY HVAC projects with flex duct. The tool worked well with a variety of sizes of zip ties and seems like a durable quality tool that will last for my needs.

Great for tightening both little and even heavy-duty tie wraps. It'll handle them all
Best tie-wrap tightener I have tried and love it! Cuts it perfectly and will tighten it as tight as the wrap can handle so buy the heavy duty ones if you want. This tool will handle them!

works as described, is easy to use, pretty straight forward
First off, I purchased this Knoweasy Zip Tie Tool and Tensioning and Cutting Tool with my own money and my review is without any influence from the manufacturer or vendor, now straight to the point, it works great, it allows you to easily apply tension to the zip tie and once secured to your desired tension, you can cut the excess off easily, you simply apply the zip tie to whatever your attaching it to, snug the tie down, then slip the tool into place and apply tension, and snip off the end, that's it, the only thing I would like to mention is, you may get premature breaking of the zip tie, but that is due to the tinsel strength of the zip tie and not the tool itself, the tool just allows you to apply tension easily, good luck

No instructions on package or included. BUT once you figure it out IT WORKS GREAT! (see review)
Not only that but no user manual was available on the product website, not was there a video that I could find on the internet. Here's how to use it: 1) First, fasten your zip tie block to the surface and thread the zip tie through with your wires bundled and pull it around, OR jus bundle whatever you want to "zip" tight. For THIS tutorial make sure the main ridges of the zip tie are facing you no matter how you position the zip tie. 2) Place the Tie Tool (short cutter handle facing DOWN) onto the tip end of the zip tie so that the zip tie ridges (that face forward) go up through the bottom edge and out the top edge (the teeth of the "gripper" jaw will be ready to grip them now). Bring the tool all the way down to the bottom, resting against your zip tie "roll." 3) Squeeze the main "jaw-working" handles (not the smaller cutter handle on the bottom) and work them a few times until desired tightness. The tool is powerful - you don't need to squeeze hard at all. 4) Lastly, Hold the last squeeze of the handles firmly so the tool's jaws are still engaged with the zip tie and now you can use your free pinky or ring finger of the same hand to snip the end. That's it. I'm in the process of securing bundles of wires together for a deck lighting project and am half done. So far the tool has saved lots of time, effort and fussing. The quality seems fine. It's made pretty heavy duty for what it does. Like I said it does not require much pressure at all to produce a much tighter bundle than you could possibly attain with your hands or even a pliers. In fact I had to "get the knack" of how LITTLE pressure to squeeze so as not to compress/ strangle the insulation on my 14 AQG wires. The key I found (so far) is to keep pressure on the main handles at the final squeeze when you call on the cutter blade. I discovered that the whole process is literally ZIP ZIP and super simple- almost one fluid motion. Much easier and simpler than I thought. I never used one of these before even though I do lots of DIY projects. I'm sold, especially on this tool. And it was a real bargain at 12 bucks. The only reason it got 4 out of 5 stars is because it came with no instructions whatsoever and they were unusually hard to find. Correction: I could not find ANY at all either here or online - even on YT etc. I never had to spend more than five minutes in the last 20 years looking for an online manual pdf, at least from the manufacturer, or a video or how to anywhere on a particular model of a product. This was highly unusual. Just when I was ready to move on and use the pliers method I decided to see how they would work as cutters only and that's when, within literally two seconds I automatically saw how to use these- it's that intuitive once you slip them over the end of the zip tie. The zip tie needs to be attached to SOMETHING for you to see how they work. I could not see how to make them work in mid air.

Tie tool works fine! Outdoor "strong" ties were weaker than advertised.
Delivered as promised! The ties weren't as strong as I thought they'd be, given the description, but they were strong enough for my project.

A great, inexpensive zip tie duct tool!
I needed to install an a/c vent and flex tube air supply into a new addition. I used this zip tie tool to properly secure the flex duct. It worked beautifully. I am not an ac contractor who will be using this daily. I have used it with 2 duct installs and I plan to use it for another 3 or 4 other installs. Either way, it worked without any issues. I would definitely buy it again!

Very robust, not like some of the others made from plastic. This zip tie tightener can snap the zip tie if you squeeze too hard so you can really get the ties tight with just the right pressure. Very easy to operate.

does what it should

B519. Exactly what I wanted. The one I've had for years (looks like the 600A) cuts before it's tight enough, even at max tension. This one will break the tie if you clamp too tightly and that's what I wanted. Cutter works perfect.
